Underground Pipeline Horizontal Drill

It's a horizontal directional drilling machine for trenchless installation of power, telecommunications, natural gas, water and cable pipelines, and for water pipe jacking operations.

Rated power: 3 kW or 4 kW. Drilling speed: 2800 mm/min. Rated speed (rotation): 690 RPM or 800 RPM. Main machine weight: 50 kg. Machine dimensions: 1350 × 850 × 1600 mm.

The unit is designed for 380 V or 220 V electrical supply. Confirm required configuration with the supplier.

The specified drilling hole diameter is 300 mm.

Yes. The machine can be used for water drill pipe jacking (tap water pipe jacking) and uses water injection to reduce jacking friction and remove spoil as slurry.

Water injection converts excavated material into a slurry that flows out, reducing friction on the pipe during jacking and improving jacking efficiency compared with purely hydraulic jacking.

It is intended for typical soft to medium soils encountered in utility installations (e.g., clay, silt, sand). For hard rock or highly heterogeneous ground, consult the manufacturer for suitability and recommended tooling.

Yes. With a main machine weight of about 50 kg and compact dimensions (1350 × 850 × 1600 mm), it is relatively portable for transport and on-site positioning, but lifting equipment or a small vehicle may be needed.

Operators should be trained in horizontal directional drilling safety and operation, electrical supply handling, fluid/mud system management, and basic maintenance. Manufacturer training is recommended.

Routine checks include electrical and motor inspections, drill rod and bit wear, hydraulic/mud system integrity, filters and seals, lubrication of moving parts, and cleaning of slurry outlets. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

Common accessories include drill rods and reaming heads, cutting bits, seals and O-rings, hoses for water/mud, couplings, spare motors or drive components, and a water/mud supply and handling system.

Typical safety measures include motor overload protection, emergency stop, stable frame design, and recommended PPE and site safety procedures. Verify specific safety features with the supplier or product manual.

Maximum bore length depends on drill rod length, ground conditions and available thrust/reaming; the product description does not state a specific maximum—consult the manufacturer with your project details for a capacity estimate.

Use proper containment and treatment for slurry and return water to prevent site contamination, follow local regulations for disposal, and minimize noise and disturbance with correct setup and muffling where needed.

Warranty, certifications (e.g., CE/ISO) and after-sales support vary by supplier—request the specific terms, service network and spare parts availability from the manufacturer or dealer before purchase.
