Product Description

The 153 kW Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Machine is a heavy-duty, crawler-mounted drilling rig designed for trenchless installation of underground pipes, cables and utility infrastructure. It provides an efficient solution for construction projects requiring underground installations with minimal surface disruption, including road crossings, river crossings and urban utility works.

Powered by a 153 kW diesel engine, the machine delivers a maximum rotary torque of 14,000 N·m and a maximum pullback force of 760 kN. Its two-speed stepless rotation system and three-speed thrust and pullback system provide operational flexibility across different drilling conditions.

The rig is equipped with a 400 L/min mud pump, capable of delivering drilling fluid at pressures of up to 8 MPa to support borehole cleaning, cooling and drilling-fluid circulation. With a recommended crossing length of up to 450 metres and back-reaming capability of up to Ø1000 mm, it is suitable for demanding underground infrastructure projects, subject to ground conditions and tooling configuration.

Its crawler undercarriage, remote-controlled hydraulic functions, rotating operator console and automatic drill rod handling system support convenient operation, mobility and maintenance on construction sites.
