Trench Depth Farm Tractor Single Chain Trencher Digging Machine 1 chain

It is a trenching machine for agriculture and forestry engineering, used to dig uniform trenches for irrigation, cable or pipe burial, drainage and other trenching tasks.

The chain trencher is designed to work with tractors in the approximate 60–140 horsepower range; exact requirements depend on trench depth, width and soil conditions.

The trencher offers adjustable trench widths and can typically dig widths in a range (product configurations commonly cover around 13–55 cm depending on model). Trenching depth is adjustable up to about 1 meter (50–100 cm commonly used).

Typical digging speed is fast — up to roughly 500–700 meters per hour under favorable conditions. Actual speed depends on soil type, depth, width and operator settings.

Yes. The unit supports conversion between single-chain and double-chain configurations to suit different trench widths and productivity needs.

It is suitable for a wide range of soils used in agriculture and forestry. Very rocky ground or soil with large boulders may reduce performance and increase wear; consult the supplier for heavy-rock applications.

Models are available to match tractor PTO drive (60–140 HP tractors). The product description also mentions air-cooled diesel model options—check the specific model listing to confirm whether it is PTO-driven or has a self-contained engine.

Regular maintenance includes inspecting and replacing worn chain and teeth/drill bits, lubricating moving parts, checking drive components and fasteners, and keeping the machine clean of debris. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule for best results.

Set the trencher’s adjustable depth stop and width settings before operation, maintain steady tractor speed, and work at appropriate PTO speed. Calibrate and test on a short run and make adjustments as needed.

Wear appropriate PPE, keep bystanders clear, follow tractor and implement safety procedures, shut off power before servicing, ensure shields and guards are in place, and operate at safe speeds especially when turning or working on slopes.

The product is described as low-failure and simple to operate. Reliability depends on correct selection for soil/conditions, regular maintenance and proper operation. Expect higher wear in abrasive or rocky soils.

Yes. Chains, teeth/drill bits and other wear parts are commonly available — contact the manufacturer or supplier for compatible spare parts and part numbers for your model.

Choose based on your tractor horsepower, desired trench width and depth, typical soil conditions and productivity requirements. If you need deeper/wider trenches or higher output, select the model and chain configuration to match those needs.

Provide your tractor horsepower and PTO specification, desired trench width and depth range, expected soil conditions, whether you want PTO-driven or self-powered (diesel) model, and any accessories or spare parts needed.
