The 30L 80mm Series Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tank

The nominal capacity is 30 liters. Usable liquid nitrogen volume may be slightly less depending on internal canisters and fill level.

80mm refers to a commonly used neck diameter in this series. The tank is available with multiple neck sizes: 50, 80, 125, and 210 mm. Specify the neck size when ordering.

The tank is constructed from durable aluminum alloy and weighs approximately 18.5 kg (empty).

Overall external dimensions are 47 x 47 x 78 cm (L x W x H). The specified diameter is 435 mm. Verify clearance requirements before installation.

A value of 0 MPa indicates the vessel is a non-pressurizable, vented cryogenic storage dewar designed for atmospheric storage of liquid nitrogen. Do not attempt to pressurize the tank.

The product can be supplied with 3 or 6 internal canisters depending on the chosen configuration. Other accessories (funnels, transfer tubes, racks) may be available—confirm with the supplier when ordering.

The tank is produced under ISO 9001 quality management and carries CE marking for applicable European directives.

A one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper filling, modification, or accidents. Contact the seller for warranty terms and claims.

Boil-off and hold time vary with neck size, fill level, ambient temperature, and usage frequency. Because rates differ by configuration, contact the manufacturer or supplier for measured boil-off rates for your selected neck/canister arrangement.

Suitable for laboratories, medical facilities (biological sample storage), research institutions, industrial cryogenic processes, and certain agricultural preservation uses.

Use appropriate PPE (cryogenic gloves, face shield, eye protection). Ensure good ventilation to prevent oxygen displacement/asphyxiation. Keep the tank upright and secured, never seal the vented opening, avoid direct skin contact with LN2 or cold surfaces, and ensure only trained personnel perform fills and transfers.

Fill using approved transfer equipment (donor dewar, transfer hose, or funnel) and follow standard LN2 filling procedures: perform transfers in a well-ventilated area, avoid overfilling, allow venting, and have trained personnel conduct the operation. Refer to supplier instructions for fill level recommendations.

Regularly inspect the tank for dents, corrosion, damaged insulation, or deformities. Keep the exterior clean and dry. Do not attempt mechanical repairs yourself—contact authorized service for any repairs or internal inspections. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule if provided.

This tank is intended for storage and stationary use. Transport of cryogens is subject to local and international regulations; do not use the tank for pressurized transport. For shipping, consult regulatory guidance (e.g., DOT, IATA) and the supplier for approved transport containers.

Yes. Spare lids, canisters, racks and alternate neck sizes or custom configurations may be available. Contact the manufacturer or your sales representative for available parts, lead times, and quotes.
