SSD-300 Tunnel Quick Freezer Iqf Small Blast Freezer for Chicken

The SSD-300 is a tunnel-style IQF (individually quick freezing) small blast freezer designed to rapidly freeze chicken and other food items while maintaining product quality. It features advanced temperature control, stainless-steel construction, and a conveyor belt for continuous processing.

The SSD-300 offers multiple control ranges and can operate between -80°C and 0°C. Common control presets include -20°C to 0°C, -40°C to 0°C, and -60°C to 0°C depending on process needs.

IQF stands for Individually Quick Frozen — a method that freezes single pieces rapidly so they stay separate. The SSD-300 is designed for IQF applications and freezes products quickly to preserve texture and quality.

Typical freezing time is 20–45 minutes, depending on product size, shape, loading pattern, belt speed, and the selected temperature setpoint.

Overall dimensions are 12,700 mm (L) × 2,700 mm (W) × 2,500 mm (H). The unit weight is approximately 5,000 kg.

The specified installed power is 14 kW and the compressor power is 70 kW. Exact electrical service requirements (voltage, phase, breaker sizing) should be confirmed with the supplier and matched by a certified electrician.

Product-contact and enclosure surfaces are constructed from SUS 304 (food-grade) stainless steel for corrosion resistance and hygienic cleaning.

The unit is specified for an input product temperature up to ≤20°C and a typical output setpoint of -18°C, though lower temperatures (down to -80°C) can be achieved depending on settings and requirements.

The belt width is 1,500 mm and the insulating panel thickness is 120 mm.

The unit is described as easy to operate for all users thanks to its advanced temperature controls, but basic operator training in safe loading/unloading, control operation, and sanitation is recommended. The supplier can provide operation manuals and training support.

Yes. The SSD-300 is marketed for small food processing businesses, restaurants, and catering services that need rapid freezing for chicken, poultry, and various other food items.

Routine maintenance includes periodic inspection of the engine, bearings, gearbox and conveyor; cleaning and sanitizing stainless-steel surfaces after use; checking refrigerant and compressor performance; and following the manufacturer's recommended service schedule. Use food-safe cleaning agents and follow local hygiene regulations.

The single-door design simplifies access for loading and unloading, reduces heat ingress points, and helps maintain internal temperature stability for efficient operation.

Plan for sufficient floor space matching the machine dimensions plus clearance for service access, a floor capable of supporting the unit's 5,000 kg weight, adequate electrical supply for the listed power ratings, proper ventilation for the compressor, and safe drainage for cleaning. Final site requirements should be confirmed with the supplier or installer.

Throughput depends on product size, loading density, belt speed, and target core temperature. Provide sample product specifications to the supplier or request a process evaluation/demo so they can estimate capacity (kg/hr) for your specific product and settings.
