Small Household Wood Splitter Wood Splitting Machine Log Splitter Hydraulic Electric Machine

The splitter is gasoline-powered with a Briggs & Stratton engine that drives a hydraulic system (Hydraulic + Gasoline Engine).

Maximum recommended log diameter is 400 mm and maximum log length is 630 mm.

The hydraulic system provides up to 8 tons of splitting force with a hydraulic pressure rating of 16 MPa.

Rated splitting speed is about 8 seconds per split (actual cycle time may vary with log type and operator handling).

The wedge is made from high carbon steel (HRC50+ quenched). It can be sharpened or replaced when worn—follow the user manual for correct procedures and replacement parts.

Yes, it will split hardwoods, but very dense hardwoods or frozen wood may slow the cycle time and increase engine load. For best results, feed appropriately sized pieces and avoid forcing logs outside the recommended limits.

Wear eye and hearing protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Keep hands and body clear of the wedge and moving parts, operate on a stable surface, never bypass safety controls, and read the operator's manual fully before use.

The unit weighs 260 kg. Move it with a mechanical lift, two or more able persons, or place it on a suitable trailer or dolly. Secure the machine during transport.

Regular maintenance includes checking and changing engine oil and filter per Briggs & Stratton guidelines, inspecting and topping hydraulic fluid to the correct level, checking hoses and fittings for leaks, keeping the wedge sharp and clean, and inspecting fasteners and safety components.

Use the hydraulic oil grade and change intervals recommended in the product manual. If a manual is not provided, consult the supplier for the correct hydraulic oil specification and service schedule.

Noise level is listed at ≤85 dB. Hearing protection is recommended during operation, especially for prolonged use.

Overall dimensions are 2500 × 1150 × 960 mm. Allow extra clearance around the machine for loading and unloading logs and safe operator movement—plan for a footprint larger than the unit dimensions.

The machine's cycle time is about 8 seconds per split (theoretical maximum ~450 splits/hour). Allowing for loading and handling, practical throughput is typically lower—often a few hundred splits per hour depending on operator speed.

Package (single box) size is 80 × 60 × 70 cm. Some assembly or final setup is usually required—refer to the included manual for assembly, mounting, and start-up instructions.
