Semi-automatic Metal Kitchen Knife Grinding Production Line for Stainless Steel Knife Manufacturing Making Machine

A semi-automatic production line designed for efficient manufacturing of stainless steel kitchen knives. It combines essential machines (metal cutting, molding, grinding/polishing and a hydraulic press) and automated features to streamline knife production. Brand: Sun Glory.

Semi-automatic means some operations are automated (conveying, grinding cycles, press operation, control systems) while operators are required for tasks such as loading/unloading, positioning blanks, quality inspection and setup adjustments.

Typical components include a metal cutting station, forming/molding equipment, one or more grinding/polishing stations, a robust hydraulic press, conveyors and a control panel. Exact configuration may vary by order.

The specification lists 'Machinery Capacity: 2500'. Capacity depends on knife design, batch size, operator skill and process settings. Confirm with the supplier for the exact unit/timeframe and a production test for your product.

The line supports multiple voltage options: 380V, 220V and 110V. Confirm the required electrical supply (three-phase vs single-phase) and any local electrical adaptations prior to installation.

It is designed primarily for stainless steel kitchen knives. Other steels or metal blades may be processed, but material compatibility should be verified with the manufacturer and validated by sample trials.

The listed weight is 999 kg. Footprint/layout is not provided in the description—request the machine layout/dimensional drawings from the supplier to confirm floor space, utilities and workflow requirements.

The specification states 'Service Machinery Overseas', indicating the supplier offers overseas service. Installation, commissioning and operator training are commonly provided—confirm scope, costs and lead times with the vendor.

Regular maintenance includes inspection and replacement of grinding wheels/belts, coolant management, hydraulic oil checks, lubrication, and alignment checks. Consumables typically include grinding wheels, belts, abrasives and cutting tools. Ask the supplier for a maintenance schedule and parts list.

Standard safety features usually include guards and covers for moving parts, emergency stop buttons, safety interlocks and operator safety instructions. Confirm specific safety certifications and required local guarding options with the manufacturer.

Yes. The line can typically be customized—tooling, fixture design, automation level, and control programming can be adapted for different knife profiles and production targets. Provide sample knives and production requirements to get a tailored quote.

Warranty and after-sales terms are not specified in the brief. Contact the supplier for details on warranty period, spare parts availability, remote support, on-site service and extended support agreements.

Lead time and shipping depend on customization, order size and current factory schedules. Request an official quote from the supplier for estimated manufacturing lead time, packaging, export documentation and available shipping methods.

Yes. The line can be supplied as a standalone production cell or integrated into an existing production flow. Integration requirements (conveyors, control interfaces, PLC communications, floor layout) should be discussed with the supplier and your engineering team.

Contact the vendor (Sun Glory or authorized distributor) with your company details, desired daily/weekly output, knife drawings or samples, required voltage and any customization needs. Ask for a formal quote, lead time, video/demo of similar installations and the option for sample production testing.
