The R7220A removes, places, and solders BGA chips and other surface-mount components on PCBs, such as phone, laptop, console, and server boards. A high-definition CCD camera with automatic optical zoom and a laser red-dot indicator lines up the chip with its pads to within ±0.02 mm. Hot-air top and bottom heaters work with a large infrared preheating zone to bring the board up to temperature evenly, which reduces warping and protects delicate components. Real-time temperature curves and a 7-inch touch screen make profiles easy to set and monitor.
