RIMA 30T Forestry Wood Machinery Firewood Processor Wood Processor Log Splitter

The RIMA 30T is a gasoline-powered firewood processor and log splitter with a 30-ton maximum splitting force. It combines a hydraulic feeding system, joystick control and a 3.5 m conveyor to process firewood for homeowners, small businesses, farms and forestry operations.

Maximum log diameter: 50 cm (approximately 20 inches). Maximum log length: 500 mm (50 cm / approximately 20 inches).

The unit is powered by a 24 HP LIFAN gasoline engine with electric start. Use the recommended grade of gasoline and follow the engine manual for oil and fuel specifications.

The splitter delivers up to 30 tons of splitting force. Cycle time is specified at 6 seconds, giving a theoretical maximum of about 10 splits per minute under ideal conditions (actual throughput depends on operator workflow and log size).

It features a hydraulic feeding system with a feed table size of 1800 x 390 mm and joystick controls for precise feeding and wedge positioning. The electric start simplifies engine ignition.

The RIMA 30T uses a 6-way wedge, allowing multiple pieces per split for faster firewood production.

The standard firewood conveyor is 3.5 m long with a belt width of 300 mm. It helps move split wood away from the splitting area for easier collection and stacking.

Machine dimensions: 2280 x 1000 x 2200 mm (L x W x H). Operating/approximate machine weight is listed as 1085 kg. Packaged size is 211 x 131 x 223 cm and a packaged gross weight is shown in documentation—confirm exact shipping weight with the vendor before transport.

Always wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and steel-toe boots). Keep bystanders clear, never bypass guards or safety systems, follow safe log loading procedures, shut off the engine and relieve hydraulic pressure before maintenance, and read the operator manual thoroughly.

Perform regular engine maintenance (oil and filter changes), inspect and maintain hydraulic fluid and filters, check belt and conveyor condition, lubricate pivot points, inspect hoses and fittings for leaks, and tighten fasteners as recommended in the operator manual. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

With 30 tons of force, the RIMA 30T can handle most hardwoods and softwoods within its size limits. Wet or frozen wood can be tougher to split and may reduce throughput, so expect varying cycle times depending on species and moisture content.

The machine runs on its onboard 24 HP gasoline engine and does not require external electric power to operate. It does have electric start — check the user manual or vendor about battery requirements and whether a battery is supplied.

Due to its weight (~1085 kg), use a forklift, crane or suitable trailer for transport and positioning. Use designated lifting points, secure the machine properly for road transport, and place it on a stable, level surface with adequate clearance for the feed table and conveyor.

Common options may include conveyor extensions, different wedge types or replacement parts. Contact the seller or manufacturer for available accessories, spare parts kits and customization options.

Warranty and support vary by seller and region. Check the product listing or contact the vendor/manufacturer directly for warranty terms, parts availability and authorized service centers.
