Portable Shotcrete Machine Material Selection Shotcrete Machine Concrete Spraying Plastering

The machine is the PZ-5 model from CoalPower.

It is suitable for shotcrete, concrete repair mortars, plastering mortars, decorative renders and similar mixes containing aggregates up to 20 mm.

The rated capacity is 5 m3/h (cubic meters per hour), depending on mix design and operating conditions.

Maximum horizontal conveying distance is up to 200 m, and the maximum vertical conveying distance is 20 m. Actual performance depends on mix, hose layout and air supply.

Maximum aggregate size is 20 mm. A recommended water–cement ratio is around 0.4, but adjust per your mix design and pumpability requirements.

Motor power is 5.5 kW and the machine requires a 380 V electrical supply (three‑phase).

Yes. Operating air pressure is 0.4–0.6 MPa (4–6 bar) with an air consumption of about 7–8 m3/h. Use an air compressor capable of supplying at least these values with some margin.

Dimensions are 1350 × 1020 × 750 mm (L × W × H) and the machine weighs approximately 600 kg. Use appropriate lifting equipment (forklift/crane) for transport.

The standard hose inner diameter specified is 51 mm. Hose length and layout affect conveying performance.

After each use flush the hopper, rotor and hoses with water to remove residual mortar. Regularly inspect and replace wear parts (rotor, stator, nozzles, hoses), grease bearings as specified by the manufacturer and check electrical and air fittings for leaks. Follow the supplier's maintenance schedule for preventative care.

Yes. It is designed for plastering walls and ceilings and for creating decorative finishes, provided you control overspray and ventilation and use appropriate mixes.

Yes. It is commonly used for shotcrete applications in tunnels and underground structures thanks to its portability and ability to spray vertically up to 20 m.

Operators should wear appropriate PPE (respiratory protection, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves), ensure good ventilation for indoor use, secure hoses and scaffolding, and follow lockout/tagout procedures for maintenance. Only trained personnel should operate the machine.

Spare parts and consumables such as hoses, nozzles and wear sleeves are typically available from the supplier or authorized distributors. Contact CoalPower or your local dealer for ordering details.

Warranty terms and after‑sales support are determined by the seller or distributor. Contact your supplier or CoalPower representative for specific warranty, service packages and parts availability in your region.
