Testing Principle

Reagent Interaction:

  • The analyte in the sample reacts with the reagent card, where colloidal gold or fluorescent markers form immune complexes at the test and control regions of the card.

 

Light Absorption:

  • When the reagent card is inserted into the analyzer, excitation light is directed onto the test and control regions. The light absorbed is directly proportional to the concentration of the immune complex present at each region.

 

Signal Processing:

  • The analyzer scans the signal and applies a mathematical model to quantify the intensity of light absorption. This allows for the quantitative calculation of the analyte content in the sample, providing qualitative or semi-quantitative results.

 

Reagent Types:

  • The fluorescent reagent card operates similarly to the colloidal gold or latex reagent card, utilizing fluorescence for the measurement.

    • Keep the analyzer away from sources of interference and vibration.
  • Operational Safety:
    • Ensure the power switch is easily accessible for emergency shutdown.
    • Maintain at least 20 cm of space between the analyzer and other equipment to avoid interference.
