PLE-6800 Glasses Processing Machine Optical Patternless Auto Lens Edger With PLE-780 Scanner

The PLE-6800 is a patternless optical lens edger designed for precise, automated lens shaping. It includes the PLE-780 scanner and is aimed at hospitals, optical shops and lens laboratories for efficient custom eyewear production.

Patternless edging uses the integrated scanner and software to capture frame shape and lens geometry digitally, then calculates and cuts the lens edge without requiring a physical paper pattern. This speeds up processing and improves accuracy.

Yes. The PLE-6800 package includes the PLE-780 scanner to enable digital capture of frames and lenses for patternless edging.

The machine has a 1000W motor and supports both 220V and 110V power supplies. Verify the required mains connection and fuse protection with your local electrical standards before installation.

Yes. The PLE-6800 is CE certified, indicating it meets declared European safety, health and environmental protection requirements.

The PLE-6800 is designed to process common ophthalmic lens materials typically used in retail and clinical settings, including CR‑39, polycarbonate, high‑index plastics and similar materials. For specialty materials or very thick lenses, confirm compatibility with the supplier.

The edger supports most standard full‑rim and many semi‑rim/three‑piece frames when used with proper holders and adapters. Extremely unusual, delicate or rimless frames may require additional fixtures or manual finishing—check with your dealer for guidance.

Typical consumables include grinding wheels, polishing pads/brushes, coolant/water and cutting discs. Replaceable parts may include belts, bearings and brushes. Ask your supplier for a recommended consumables list and part numbers.

The system is engineered for high precision suitable for prescription eyewear and custom lens shapes. For specific numerical tolerances or measurement accuracy, request the manufacturer's technical specifications.

Regular maintenance includes daily cleaning of the work area and scanner glass, weekly inspection of grinding and polishing units, periodic replacement of consumables, and routine software updates. Follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule in the user manual.

The machine includes the scanner and control software necessary for patternless edging. Many suppliers offer installation support and operator training—confirm training options and whether they are included or available at extra cost.

Most manufacturers and authorized dealers provide technical support, spare parts and repair services. Ask the seller about service contracts, local support centers and lead times for parts.

The PLE-6800 is ideal for hospital optical departments, retail optical shops, and lens laboratories that require reliable, efficient processing of custom eyewear and prescription lenses.

Operate the machine only with the correct voltage and grounded outlet, keep guards and covers in place during use, wear appropriate personal protection (eye protection when servicing), disconnect power before maintenance, and follow all safety instructions in the user manual.

Contact the manufacturer or your authorized dealer for detailed technical specifications, current pricing, shipping options, warranty information and order placement. They can also provide demo videos, brochures and local references.
