Optoma DH39 High-Definition Home Blu-ray 3D Projector 3600 Lumens for Living Room Theater Updated Version

The product description lists a "Physical Resolution 4K (3840x2160)" but also shows "Maximum Support Resolution 1080p." These statements conflict. To confirm whether the unit is native 4K or a 1080p projector that accepts 4K input (pixel-shifting), please check the seller's detailed spec sheet or contact Optoma/seller for clarification.

The Optoma DH39 is rated at 3500–4000 ANSI lumens (listed as 3600 lumens in the title), which is bright enough for living rooms and spaces with some ambient light. For best image quality, dim the lights or use ambient light rejection screens in very bright environments.

Yes—the DH39 is listed as 3D-ready. You will need a compatible 3D source (Blu-ray 3D or other 3D-enabled media player) and appropriate 3D glasses. The exact 3D format supported and whether glasses are included is not specified; verify with the seller.

The Optoma DH39 uses DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, which typically provides good contrast, sharpness and color performance.

The projector has a listed contrast ratio of 10,000:1. A higher contrast ratio helps produce deeper blacks and better perceived image depth, improving movie and gaming experiences—especially in darker viewing environments.

Yes—it's listed as suitable for outdoor movie events and parties. Because brightness and ambient light affect picture quality, outdoor use works best after sunset or in shaded areas. Use a proper projection screen for best results.

The projector is described as portable, meaning it is relatively easy to move and set up. However, it does not include a built-in battery, so it requires an external power source.

The provided description does not list specific input ports. Optoma projectors commonly include HDMI and VGA, but please check the official product listing or user manual for exact connectivity options before purchasing.

The product information does not specify built-in speakers. Many home projectors include small speakers for convenience but for best audio, external speakers or a soundbar are recommended. Confirm speaker presence and power with the seller.

This projector comes with a 1-year warranty as listed in the product specifications. For details on what the warranty covers, contact the seller or consult Optoma's warranty policy.

Throw distance and supported screen sizes are not provided in the description. These vary by lens and model subversion. Check the official spec sheet or user manual for the projector's throw ratio and recommended screen sizes, or ask the seller for those measurements.

The description mentions gaming as an application, but it does not list a specific input lag figure. If low input lag is important for fast-paced gaming, request the input lag specs from the seller or Optoma to ensure responsiveness meets your needs.

The listing indicates the projector uses a lamp but does not state lamp life. Lamp lifespan typically varies based on usage mode (eco/normal). Replacement lamps are normally available through Optoma or authorized resellers. Ask the seller for estimated lamp hours and part numbers.

Keystone correction and lens shift are common setup features, but the description does not confirm them. For information on vertical/horizontal keystone correction, lens shift, and mounting options, check the detailed user manual or product specification sheet.

The Optoma DH39 is positioned for home theater users who want bright, high-contrast images and 3D capability, as well as for business, education, and outdoor events. It's a versatile choice for movie nights, presentations, classrooms, galleries, and casual gaming—assuming its connectivity and resolution meet your specific needs.
