MX3515B Customization Timber Beehive Finger Joint Machine Semi Automatic

The MX3515B is a semi-automatic woodworking machine designed to produce strong finger joints and comb tenons for timber products—commonly used for beehive frames, furniture components and construction timber.

Key specs: 380V power, pneumatic power source, weight 600 kg, dimensions 1500 x 1350 x 1120 mm, max working width 350 mm, max working thickness 100 mm, shaper spindle diameter 35 mm, shaper blade diameter 160 mm, shaper spindle speed 7000 r/min, cut-off saw speed 2840 r/min, shaper power 7.5 kW, cut-off saw power 2.2 kW, comb tenoning length 14 mm, working air pressure 0.4–0.6 MPa.

Semi-automatic means the machine performs the cutting and finger-jointing operations automatically once set up, while an operator is required for feeding, initial setup, monitoring and unloading parts.

The machine requires a stable compressed air supply at 0.4–0.6 MPa (4–6 bar). Use a properly sized compressor that can maintain this pressure under load and provide sufficient airflow for pneumatic components.

The MX3515B operates on 380V three-phase power. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended to ensure correct connection and safety compliance.

Maximum working width is 350 mm and maximum thickness is 100 mm. It is suitable for most softwoods and many hardwoods; for very dense or brittle species test cuts are recommended and tooling should be selected accordingly.

The machine uses a 160 mm shaper blade mounted on a 35 mm spindle. Replaceable cutters and saw blades are available; confirm blade bore and profile compatibility when ordering replacements.

The shaper spindle runs at 7000 r/min for precise cuts and the cut-off saw at 2840 r/min. Production rate depends on joint length, operator skill and setup, but the machine is designed for high working efficiency in small to larger production facilities.

Yes—standard safety features are included such as guards, emergency stop(s) and pneumatic safety interlocks. Operators should still follow PPE and safe working procedures (hearing protection, eye protection, etc.).

Provide a level, stable floor with enough clearance for the machine dimensions (1500 x 1350 x 1120 mm) plus workspace for loading/unloading. Secure electrical three-phase wiring and a compressed air system at 0.4–0.6 MPa. Professional installation and commissioning is recommended.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning chips and dust, checking and replacing worn cutters and saw blades, lubricating moving parts as recommended, inspecting pneumatic lines and fittings for leaks, and periodic checks of spindle bearings and drive components.

Yes. The product listing indicates a video of outgoing inspection and a machinery test report are provided with the machine.

Yes—MX3515B is described as customizable. Tooling profiles, finger geometry and some machine options can be adapted. Contact the supplier with required joint dimensions and production details to discuss customization.

Suppliers typically provide spare parts, technical support, and optional on-site commissioning or training. Confirm warranty period, spare parts availability and support terms with the vendor before purchase.

Operators should wear hearing protection, safety glasses, and avoid loose clothing. Follow lockout/tagout procedures for maintenance, use guards and emergency stops, and ensure proper training before operation.
