The Light Therapy Device 308nm (model SQ308 Pro) is a handheld LED UVB phototherapy device designed to provide spot treatment for skin conditions such as psoriasis and vitiligo. It emits 308 nm UV light to target affected areas and support skin management at home or in clinic settings.

Yes — the unit is designed for handheld home use. However, phototherapy carries risks (eye/skin damage and other side effects), so use should follow the device manual and be supervised or approved by a dermatologist, especially when starting treatment.

Model: SQ308 Pro; Wavelength: 308 nm (UVB); Light source: LED; Irradiation intensity: 33 mW/cm²; Treatment area: 1.5 x 1.5 cm; Weight: 60 g; Certifications: CE, ISO.

The spot treatment area is approximately 1.5 x 1.5 cm. For larger patches, treat multiple adjacent spots sequentially according to the treatment plan provided by your clinician.

Treatment duration and frequency depend on individual factors (skin type, condition severity, prior phototherapy). These parameters should be determined by a dermatologist. Consult the product manual and your clinician before beginning treatment.

Avoid direct eye exposure and always wear appropriate protective eyewear. Do not use on sunburned or irritated skin. Keep unexposed skin covered, follow prescribed dosing, and stop use and consult your doctor if you experience severe redness, blistering, or other adverse reactions.

Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a personal or family history of skin cancer, have lupus or other photosensitive disorders, are taking photosensitizing medications, or intend to use the device on children. Do not use without medical approval if you have any concerns.

Common side effects may include mild redness, itching, or temporary tanning. Less commonly, overexposure can cause blistering, hyperpigmentation, or exacerbation of symptoms. If significant or persistent side effects occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

Store the device in a cool, dry place and keep it in its packaging when not in use. Clean the treatment window with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and a mild disinfectant; do not immerse the device in water or open the housing. Refer to the manual for full maintenance instructions.

The product listing does not specify included accessories. Protective eyewear is required during treatment to prevent eye injury; if goggles are not included, obtain approved UV-protective eyewear before first use.
