Leadworld Water Bath Food Sterilizer High Pressure Steam Retort Autoclave for Canning Food

This high-pressure steam retort autoclave is designed for commercial sterilization of canned foods, bottles and jars, sauces, soups, and other processed food products to achieve commercial sterility and extend shelf life.

Key specifications include brand Leadworld, rated power 3.5 kW, weight about 1000 kg, voltage options 220V/380V, temperature range 134–135°C, steam sterilization using a steam boiler heating method, automatic control system, and customizable capacity to match customer production requirements. Dimensions listed are L: 24 m × W: 2.4 m (confirm model sizing with supplier).

It uses high-pressure steam (retort/steam autoclave) as the sterilization medium and is capable of reaching the specified temperature range of 134–135°C required for effective commercial sterilization cycles.

The unit features an automatic control system with programmable cycles and precise temperature control suitable for repeatable sterilization processes. Exact control granularity and data-logging options depend on the model and controller package—confirm available options with the manufacturer.

Capacity is customized to match your production. To determine required capacity, consider container type and size, number of containers per cycle, required cycle time, and planned daily throughput. Contact the supplier with your production targets for a recommended configuration.

Typical requirements include appropriate electrical supply (220V or 380V as specified), a steam supply if external boiler is used (or connection to the machine's steam boiler), water feed and drainage, adequate floor loading capacity (unit weight ~1000 kg plus load), ventilation and safe access for maintenance. Confirm exact requirements and floor plan with the supplier or installation engineer.

Regular maintenance usually includes daily cleaning and draining of the water bath, inspection and cleaning of steam lines and nozzles, routine checks of door seals and valves, periodic descaling, calibration of temperature and pressure sensors, and scheduled boiler maintenance. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and service recommendations.

Standard safety features typically include pressure relief valves, over-temperature protection, interlocks on doors to prevent opening under pressure, and emergency stop controls. Confirm specific safety devices fitted to the model you purchase and ensure operators are trained in safe procedures.

Cycle time depends on product type, container size, filling, and target sterilization value (F0). Typical retort cycles can range from tens of minutes to several hours. The exact cycle program should be validated by you or the supplier for your specific product and container.

Validation commonly uses time-temperature profiling, biological indicators, and calculation of sterilization value (F0). Temperature mapping and validation protocols should be performed during commissioning and whenever process changes occur. The supplier or a food safety consultant can assist with validation.

Yes—the retort is suitable for a variety of container types and sizes. Loading racks or baskets are typically configured to match your container dimensions and production layout. Provide container details to the supplier for correct rack design.

Check for relevant industry certifications such as CE, ISO, and compliance with local food safety regulations and sanitary design standards. Also verify documentation for electrical safety and boiler/pressure vessel approvals as required in your jurisdiction.

The unit's rated electrical power is 3.5 kW, but actual energy consumption depends on cycle frequency, cycle length, steam production method, insulation, and loading. For an accurate energy estimate, provide your expected daily cycles and loading to the supplier.

Many suppliers offer turnkey services including site installation, commissioning, process validation and operator training. Confirm scope of services, any additional costs, and lead times with your Leadworld representative.

Warranty terms and after-sales support vary by supplier and model. Ask the manufacturer or distributor for specific warranty duration, covered components, availability of spare parts, and service contracts prior to purchase.
