The LB1000 Fixed Asphalt Mixing Plant is a high-performance batch-type asphalt production system designed for the efficient manufacture of hot-mix asphalt for road construction, pavement development and infrastructure projects. The plant has a rated mixer capacity of 1,000 kg per batch and a rated production capacity of approximately 80 tonnes per hour under standard operating conditions.

The plant combines cold aggregate feeding, drying and heating, screening, hot aggregate storage, precision weighing, asphalt and powder dosing, forced mixing, dust collection and automated control into one integrated production system.

Main Equipment Configuration

Advanced Mixing System

The plant uses a 1,000 kg/batch biaxial forced mixer designed to provide uniform and efficient mixing. The mixer incorporates wear-resistant blades and liners, while the pneumatic discharge door is designed to reduce material adhesion and leakage. Safety protection allows rapid braking during emergency situations.

Drying and Heating System

The Ø1.7 m × 7 m drying drum features thermal insulation and a wear- and heat-resistant combustion zone. A temperature measurement device at the discharge point enables automatic temperature control. The dual-purpose burner can operate with light oil, heavy oil or natural gas, with automatic proportional adjustment of fuel flow and air volume according to preset temperatures.

Dust Collection System

The plant incorporates a multi-stage dust removal system, consisting of a primary cyclone dust collector followed by a secondary wet dust collector. The system is designed to improve dust removal efficiency while allowing separated aggregate dust to be recycled into the production process.

Automated Control System

The electronic control system includes a 19-inch LCD monitor, Siemens PLC, Schneider electrical components and UPS, with a computerised control interface. The system supports automatic, semi-automatic and manual operation, as well as production formula input, fault alarms, self-diagnosis, data storage, report retrieval and printing.
