Large Log Splitter Machine Gasoline Used Wood Processor 20 Ton Firewood Processor with Chainsaw

20 ton refers to the maximum splitting force the machine can apply (about 20 tons of pressure). Actual performance depends on log species, grain, moisture content and operator technique — very hardwoods or frozen logs may still be difficult to split.

Maximum log diameter is 38 cm (about 15 inches) and maximum log length is 55 cm (about 21.5 inches). Larger logs will need to be trimmed before processing.

This model is gasoline-powered. Use the type of unleaded gasoline and fuel/oil mixture (if required) specified in the owner’s manual — check with the seller or HAWK for recommended octane and oil recommendations.

Yes — the unit includes an 18-inch chainsaw. Replacement bars and chains should be 18" compatible; check the manual for required pitch and gauge when ordering spare chains.

A four-way knife (splitting head) splits a log into four pieces in a single stroke, which speeds up processing for logs you want quartered. Knives can dull or be damaged and should be sharpened or replaced per the maintenance instructions.

The machine is equipped with high-speed trailer wheels for mobility. At 520 kg (approx.), it’s heavy — you’ll need appropriate towing equipment, hitching hardware and possibly a trailer. Confirm towing capability and legal requirements with your local regulations and the seller.

The unit weighs approximately 520 kg.

Yes. The product is marketed for both residential and commercial use, suitable for homeowners with high firewood needs and small woodlot or landscaping operations.

Always read and follow the operator’s manual. Use appropriate PPE (gloves, chainsaw chaps, eye and ear protection, steel-toe boots). Keep bystanders, children and pets well away, operate on stable level ground, secure and position logs properly, never bypass safety devices, and follow proper chainsaw safety practices.

Regular maintenance typically includes engine oil and filter changes, air filter inspection, spark plug checks, chainsaw chain sharpening/tensioning, lubrication of moving parts, fastener checks, and inspection of seals and hoses. If the unit uses a hydraulic system, follow the manual for hydraulic fluid and filter service intervals. Always follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

Contact the seller or HAWK (brand) for genuine replacement parts. Provide model and serial numbers when ordering. Local dealers or authorized service centers can also supply blades, chains and consumables.

Some assembly and setup (mounting, connecting controls, installing chainsaw bar/chain, checking fluids) is commonly required. Follow the included manual for step-by-step instructions. If you are not comfortable, have a qualified technician perform initial setup and safety checks.

It can process green and knotty wood, but performance depends on wood hardness and grain. Frozen logs are more difficult and may increase stress and wear on the machine. For challenging wood types, process smaller sections and follow the manufacturer’s guidance to avoid damage.

As a gasoline-powered unit, it produces engine noise and exhaust emissions. Use hearing protection during operation and comply with local noise and emissions regulations. Do not operate in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas to avoid carbon monoxide buildup.

Warranty terms and service options vary by seller and region. Before purchase, confirm warranty length, coverage details and authorized service centers with the seller or the HAWK brand representative. Keep purchase and serial number information for claims.
