Laboratory Fume Extractor arm

The fume extractor arm is designed to capture and remove fumes, gases and airborne contaminants at the source in laboratory environments, improving local ventilation and protecting operators.

The arm has an effective adjustable range of 900–1600 mm, with a maximum radius of activity up to 1600 mm when the fixed frame is used as the center.

Key components are made from high-density polypropylene (PP) and PVC: 75 mm expansion conduit (high-density PP), adaptors and joints (high-density PP), joint rod (304 stainless steel), joint seals (high-density rubber), and the fixed base (high-density PVC).

Joints offer 360° rotational adjustment for flexible positioning. Joints are designed for easy disassembly, reorganization and cleaning.

There is a manual air flow regulator valve — simply adjust the external valve button to control incoming air flow.

The system is designed to achieve a wind speed of 1.0 ± 0.1 m/s at the capture point and to operate with running noise below 65 dB.

The design specifies glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) inclined flow explosion-proof, energy-saving fans driven by a 380 V three-phase motor. The FRP fan offers high strength, light weight and excellent corrosion resistance.

The arm mounts to the fixed base (high-density PVC, mold-injection molded). Follow the supplier’s installation instructions and ensure a secure, level mounting surface. For the exhaust fan and motor, use qualified technicians to connect the 380 V three-phase power and to integrate with building ventilation or filtration systems.

The exhaust fan motor is specified as a 380 V three-phase motor. Electrical connection and commissioning should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.

Joints are easy to disassemble for cleaning and reassembly. Wipe PP and PVC parts with mild detergent and water; avoid harsh solvents unless chemical compatibility is confirmed. Inspect seals and moving parts regularly and lubricate or replace worn components as recommended by the supplier.
