The Lab.gruppen FP 7000 is a high-performance 2-channel professional power amplifier designed for demanding live sound, touring, installation, and rental applications. Utilizing Lab.gruppen's patented Class TD amplifier technology together with a Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS), the FP 7000 delivers powerful, clean audio with exceptional efficiency, stable output, and reliable operation across a wide range of mains voltages.
Delivering a peak total output of 7,000 watts, the FP 7000 is capable of producing 730 W per channel at 16 Ω, 1,450 W per channel at 8 Ω, 2,800 W per channel at 4 Ω, and 3,500 W per channel at 2 Ω with all channels driven. In bridged mode, the amplifier delivers up to 7,000 W at 4 Ω, making it suitable for powering high-performance subwoofers, line arrays, and full-range loudspeaker systems.
The amplifier incorporates Lab.gruppen's Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL), allowing users to select one of eight output voltage settings (155, 121, 101, 83, 70, 56, 47, and 38 V) to optimize amplifier performance while protecting connected loudspeakers. Adjustable global gain settings from +23 dB to +44 dB provide flexibility for a wide range of professional audio system configurations.
Designed for continuous professional use, the FP 7000 features comprehensive protection systems including Current Peak Limiter (CPL), Safe Operating Area Detection (SOAD), Very High Frequency (VHF) Protection, DC Protection, Temperature Protection, Power Average Limiter (PAL), and Soft-Start technology to maximize reliability while safeguarding both the amplifier and connected loudspeakers.
Front-panel LED indicators provide real-time monitoring of signal levels, clipping, current limiting, load status, temperature, and fault conditions, while support for the NomadLink® network enables remote monitoring and amplifier management through Lab.gruppen's DeviceControl software.
Built into a compact 2U rack-mount chassis weighing only 12 kg, the FP 7000 combines high power density with professional-grade reliability, making it an excellent choice for touring companies, concert venues, theatres, houses of worship, clubs, and permanent audio installations.
