KF-X1-TB Portable Type Powder Coating Spray Gun

The KF-X1-TB is designed to apply powder coatings efficiently to steel substrates for applications such as automotive parts, furniture, industrial equipment and DIY projects.

The unit operates at 50 W and is available for 220V or 110V mains supply. Check the model specifications before ordering to match your local voltage.

The spray gun weighs approximately 15 kg (single gross weight 16 kg) and has a compact package size (42 x 34 x 55 cm), making it easy to transport and use on-site.

The KF-X1-TB works with common powder coating formulations used on steel. For best results, use powders recommended by your powder supplier and verify compatibility (epoxy, polyester or hybrid powders) in the product manual.

The system’s core component is a pump for powder delivery. Many setups of this type do not require a separate high-pressure compressor for powder feed, but installation/setup requirements can vary — follow the included manual or confirm with the seller for your specific configuration.

Proper surface prep is critical: clean, degrease and remove rust or mill scale from steel. Depending on the application, use mechanical or chemical pretreatments (e.g., alkaline cleaning, phosphating) per powder supplier guidance for optimal adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Powder coatings require a curing step in an oven at the temperature and time specified by the powder manufacturer. The KF-X1-TB applies the powder only; you will need an appropriate curing oven or curing process to achieve final film properties.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning residual powder from the gun and pump after use, inspecting nozzles and seals for wear, and replacing worn parts as needed. Follow the maintenance schedule and procedures in the user manual to ensure consistent performance.

Yes. The product listing indicates a video outgoing inspection and a machinery test report are provided with the unit.

Use appropriate PPE — a respirator rated for powder particles, eye protection and protective clothing. Ensure good ventilation, proper grounding of the workpiece and equipment to avoid electrostatic hazards, and follow all safety instructions in the manual.

The gun is specified for steel substrates. Coating other materials (aluminum, wood, plastics) may be possible but will require appropriate surface preparation and testing. Always validate adhesion and performance with the chosen powder and substrate.

Final film thickness depends on the powder type, application technique and curing. Typical powder coating thicknesses for many applications range roughly from 40 to 100 microns; consult the powder datasheet and adjust application technique accordingly.

Common spares include nozzles, seals, filters and wear parts for the pump. Powder and cleaning brushes or vacuums for powder recovery are typical consumables. Check with the supplier for a recommended spare-parts kit.

The gun is described as easy to operate and portable, making it suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professional use. For high-volume production you should evaluate throughput, cycle times and integration with curing ovens to ensure it meets your production needs.

The product is sold as a single item. The listing specifies package dimensions and gross weight and notes that outgoing inspection video and a machinery test report are provided; confirm with the seller what accessories (hoses, nozzles, manuals) are included before purchase.
