1. What is the HY380 Mini Track Crawler Tracked Skid Steer Loader?

The HY380 is a compact, rubber-tracked skid steer loader from Baoomax/Hysoon designed for tight-access earthmoving, landscaping and light construction tasks. It comes configured with an auger bit for drilling holes.

2. What makes this model a 'mini track' or 'crawler' skid steer?

Mini track indicates a compact chassis with rubber tracks (crawler) rather than wheels. This provides lower ground pressure, improved traction on soft or uneven surfaces, and better stability in confined work areas.

3. What tasks is the HY380 suited for?

Typical uses include landscaping, fence post and planting hole drilling (with the auger), small-scale excavation, site cleanup, material handling, and utility work where space is limited.

4. Is the auger bit included and what sizes are supported?

The HY380 is supplied with an auger attachment. Supported auger diameters and lengths vary by configuration — contact the seller for available bit sizes and optional extensions to match your drilling needs.

5. Are other attachments compatible with this skid steer?

Yes. The HY380 supports a range of mini skid-steer attachments (buckets, forks, hydraulic breakers, tillers, etc.). Attachment compatibility can depend on the quick-attach coupling and hydraulic flow rate — confirm specifics with the supplier.

6. What kind of engine and fuel does it use?

The HY380 typically uses a compact diesel engine suited for small construction equipment. Exact engine model, power rating and fuel requirements should be verified on the spec sheet provided by the seller or manufacturer.

7. How much does the HY380 lift or how much weight can it carry?

Lift capacity varies by configuration. Mini tracked skid steers generally have limited rated operating capacities compared to full-size machines. Ask the manufacturer for the rated operating capacity and tipping load for the HY380 model.

8. What are the transport and storage considerations?

Due to its compact size, the HY380 can typically be transported on a small trailer with appropriate tie-downs and a ramp. Store on level ground, protected from weather when possible, and follow manufacturer recommendations for long-term storage.

9. What maintenance is required to keep the HY380 running well?

Regular maintenance includes checking hydraulic fluid and engine oil, inspecting and tensioning tracks, cleaning air filters, greasing pivot points, and inspecting attachments. Follow the operator manual service intervals and use recommended fluids and parts.

10. What safety features and precautions are recommended?

Standard precautions include wearing PPE, using the ROPS/seatbelt if equipped, checking surroundings for overhead and underground hazards, following load limits, never operating on excessively steep slopes, and reading the operator manual and safety decals before use.

11. Is training required to operate the HY380?

Operators should be trained and familiar with skid-steer controls, attachment use and safety procedures. Many suppliers offer operator training or can recommend certified training providers.

12. What warranty and after-sales support are available?

Warranty terms and after-sales service vary by supplier and region. Contact the dealer or Baoomax/Hysoon representative for details on warranty coverage, parts availability and authorized service centers.

13. How can I order one and what is the lead time?

To order, contact the manufacturer, authorized dealer or the listed supplier. Lead time depends on stock levels, customization and shipping destination — the supplier will provide current pricing and estimated delivery times.

14. Are spare parts and replacement auger bits available?

Yes. The manufacturer or dealer typically supplies spare parts and various auger bits. Provide your machine serial number and attachment specifications to ensure correct parts and compatible bits.

15. How should I choose the right auger bit for my project?

Choose auger diameter and flight length based on required hole size and soil conditions. Use wider, heavy-duty bits for dense soils or rocky ground and longer extensions for deeper holes. Consult the supplier for recommendations matched to your HY380 hydraulic flow and torque limits.
