"Hanvy Machinery: 8ft Smart Wood Log Cutting Saw for Beech"

This machine is designed for cutting hardwood logs such as beech into specified lengths. The product name '8ft' refers to the machine's nominal maximum cutting length capacity (about 8 feet / ~2.4 m). For other wood species and densities, throughput and finish may vary.

HYJ500L is a hydraulic-driven high-speed chain saw cutting machine supplied with a 6-meter conveyor and hydraulic pressing. HYJ500L-3 is a similar hydraulic model but comes with an 8-meter conveyor and three saw units (three saws) for multi-cut or gang-cutting operations, improving throughput and flexibility.

The nominal maximum cutting length is 8 ft (≈2.4 m). Typical machines in this series handle log diameters up to roughly 500 mm (≈20 in), but exact maximum diameter can depend on model configuration and tooling. Confirm the exact capacity with Hanvy Machinery before ordering.

Hydraulic drive refers to the use of hydraulic motors and actuators to power the chain saw, feed, and pressing systems. Advantages include smooth, high-torque cutting performance, adjustable feed speed, robust power for dense hardwoods like beech, and easier integration of press/clamp functions for consistent cuts.

The HYJ500L-3's three saws allow simultaneous or sequential multi-cut operations — for example, cutting multiple lengths from a log in one pass or performing a rough cut plus finish cuts — increasing throughput compared with a single-saw configuration.

Typical 'smart' features include PLC-based control, programmable length and cut-count settings, an HMI/touchscreen interface for operator control, automatic feed and press sequencing, and diagnostics. Exact features depend on the chosen configuration; Hanvy can confirm the supplied control package.

The HYJ500L package includes a 6-meter conveyor, while the HYJ500L-3 includes an 8-meter conveyor as standard. Longer conveyors improve material handling, staging capacity, and automation integration (loading/unloading), which is beneficial for higher-volume operations.

Site requirements typically include a suitable three-phase electrical supply (voltage and ampere rating depend on motor package), hydraulic oil reservoir space, a level concrete floor with sufficient footprint, and clearance for conveyors. Exact electrical and hydraulic specifications will be provided by Hanvy based on the ordered configuration.

Standard safety features commonly include emergency stop buttons, guarded saw enclosures, safety interlocks on access panels, hydraulic overload protection, and safety signage. Additional fencing, light curtains, or PLC safety modules can be supplied as options to meet local regulations.

Throughput depends on log size, cut length, saw configuration (single vs three saws), and operator settings. High-speed chain saw cutting machines typically achieve short cycle times measured in seconds per cut. For accurate production rates for your product mix, Hanvy can provide sample throughput estimates based on test parameters.

Routine maintenance includes daily inspection and lubrication of chains, periodic tension checks, hydraulic fluid monitoring and changes, cleaning of conveyors, and scheduled inspection of bearings and guides. Chain and blade wear depends on wood species and usage; for hardwoods like beech, expect more frequent sharpening or replacement. Hanvy will provide a maintenance schedule and recommended spare parts list.

Yes. Hanvy Machinery typically supplies spare parts (chains, blades, hydraulic components, wear items) and offers technical support, installation assistance, and after-sales service. It is recommended to order a set of critical spares with the machine to minimize downtime.

Yes. Options often include different conveyor lengths, additional saw units, custom feed/press tooling, PLC/HMI upgrades, dust and chip extraction systems, and automation interfaces for upstream/downstream equipment. Contact Hanvy for available customization options and pricing.

Chain saw cutting generates noise and wood chips/sawdust. Recommended measures include installing a chip/dust extraction system, acoustic enclosures or barriers, using personal protective equipment (hearing protection, eye protection), and following local workplace noise and dust regulations. Hanvy can quote compatible extraction and containment options.

Warranty periods and training packages vary by dealer and contract. Hanvy typically offers a manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship and can provide on-site commissioning, operator training, and maintenance training as part of the purchase or as an add-on service.
