Package includes: 1x GT35 turbo (with gaskets), 600x300x76 mm intercooler, 2x 90° aluminum pipes (2.5"), 2x straight aluminum pipes (2.5"), 2x 135° aluminum pipes (2.5"), 2x U aluminum pipes (2.5"), 6x straight silicone hoses (2.5", blue), 2x 90° silicone hoses (2.5", blue), 16x clamps (2.5").
2. Which engines and vehicles is this kit compatible with?
This is a universal kit designed for 3.0L–6.0L engines and is best suited to 4- and 6-cylinder applications. Because it is universal, some vehicles will require modifications, custom brackets, or fabrication for mounting, piping, oil/water lines and exhaust connections.
3. How much power can this GT35 turbo support?
The GT35 in this kit is rated to be capable of supporting up to approximately 600 HP, but actual achievable power depends on supporting modifications (fuel system, engine internals, exhaust, intercooling), proper tuning, and installation quality.
4. Is the turbo water- or oil-cooled?
The turbo is cooled by both water and oil (Water + Oil cooling). Proper oil feed/drain lines and water coolant plumbing are required for safe operation.
5. Does the turbo have an internal wastegate?
No. This turbo does not include an internal wastegate, so you must provide an external wastegate or another method of boost control (wastegate, boost controller, or suitable actuator) depending on your setup.
6. What turbine and compressor flange/sizing details should I know?
Turbine (turbo manifold) inlet flange: T3. Exhaust outlet flange: 4-bolt. Note that the turbo outlet and downpipe/manifold compatibility may require custom flanges or adapters.
7. What are the main turbo specifications (trim, A/R, inducer/exducer)?
Turbo specs: Turbine trim 84, turbine inducer 68 mm, turbine exducer 62.4 mm, turbine A/R 0.63. Compressor trim 57, compressor inducer 61.5 mm, compressor exducer 81.5 mm, compressor A/R 0.7. Bearing type: wet floating bearing.
8. What are the intercooler core and piping dimensions?
Intercooler core: 600 x 300 x 76 mm (thickness 76 mm). Intercooler inlet/outlet: 3". Pipe kit: primarily 2.5" aluminum piping with 1.8 mm wall thickness and pipe lengths included as described.
9. The intercooler is 3" but the piping is 2.5"—will that cause problems?
The kit comes with 2.5" piping but the intercooler inlet/outlet is 3"; you will likely need reducers/adapters or custom piping to mate the 2.5" pipes to the 3" intercooler ports. This is a common consideration on universal kits—plan for adapters or custom hoses.
10. Are silicone hoses and clamps included?
Yes. The kit includes silicone hoses (multiple straight and 90° blue pieces sized 2.5") and 16 clamps sized for the included 2.5" piping. Additional clamps or different-size hoses may be required if you adapt to the 3" intercooler ports.
11. Is this turbo kit a bolt-on, plug-and-play installation?
No. This is a universal turbo kit. Installation typically requires custom fabrication for manifold/downpipe, oil and water lines, intercooler piping modifications, mounting brackets and likely ECU tuning. Professional installation and fitting work are strongly recommended.
12. Do I need ECU tuning or other supporting modifications?
Yes. After installing a turbo of this size you must tune the engine management to ensure proper air/fuel ratios and timing. Supporting modifications such as upgraded fuel system (injectors, pump), stronger engine internals, wastegate, blow-off valve, and proper exhaust are often required to safely reach higher power levels.
13. What materials and finish are used for pipes and intercooler?
Piping and intercooler end tanks are made from 6061 aluminum with manual polishing finish. The intercooler core uses a tube-and-fin design, chosen for good thermodynamic heat dissipation.
14. What type of turbo bearing is used and what does it mean for durability?
The turbo uses a wet floating bearing. Wet bearings use oil for lubrication and cooling; they are a durable, commonly used bearing type for high-performance turbos but require correct oil feed and drain plumbing to ensure longevity.
