Heating Principle
How exactly does induction heating work? It helps to have a basic understanding of the principles of electricity. When an alternating electrical current is applied to the primary of a transformer, an alternating magnetic field is created. According to Faraday's Law, if the secondary of the transformer is located within the magnetic field, an electric current will be induced.
In a basic induction heating setup shown in, a solid state RF power supply sends an AC current through an inductor (often a copper coil),and the part to be heated (the workpiece) is placed inside the inductor. The inductor serves as the transformer primary and the part to be heated becomes a short circuit secondary. When a metal part is placed within the inductor and enters the magnetic field, circulating eddy currents are induced within the part.

The WXH-15 model has a capacity of 1-2 KG of gold, while the WXH-25 model can handle 3-5 KG of gold.
The furnace can operate on a single phase 220V 50/60Hz or a three-phase 380V 50/60Hz power supply.
The WXH-15 model has a maximum input power of 7KW, and the WXH-25 model has a maximum input power of 15KW.
The furnace requires cooling water with a pressure of greater than 0.2MPa and a flow rate of 2-6L/min.
Both models have a duty cycle of 100% at a temperature of 40°C.
The WXH-15 model has an oscillation frequency of 30-100KHZ, and the WXH-25 model operates at 30-80KHZ.
Both models have dimensions of 530mm (L) x 220mm (W) x 460mm (H).
The WXH-15 model weighs 30 KG, while the WXH-25 model weighs 35 KG.
Induction heating works by passing an alternating electrical current through an inductor, creating a magnetic field that induces electric currents within the metal workpiece, heating it rapidly.
While the furnace is designed for melting gold, it can also be used for other metals with similar melting points, but it's important to check compatibility.
The Gold Melting Furnace is suitable for both industrial applications and personal use, depending on the scale of your operations.
The furnace is designed with various safety features, including overheat protection and proper insulation to ensure safe operation.
The furnace is compatible with various types of crucibles designed for induction heating, typically made from materials that can withstand high temperatures.
Installation is straightforward, but it's recommended to follow the manufacturer's guidelines or consult a professional for optimal setup.
The purchase typically includes the furnace unit itself, a user manual, and any necessary accessories for operation.
