GFX7000 Metal Detector

The GFX7000 is a high-performance metal detector designed for treasure hunting. It offers high sensitivity and stability, metal-type identification, and improved penetration and depth compared with many similar detectors.

The GFX7000 can detect a wide range of metals including coins, jewelry, gold and silver. Its discrimination and recognition functions help you focus on desirable targets while reducing unwanted trash signals.

Metal type can be identified via the LCD display in discrimination mode and also by distinct audio tones. The unit uses digital pulse balance/recognition methods to classify targets.

Detection frequency is specified at 465 kHz, and the detector uses a digital pulse balance / recognition method. The unit provides sound and LCD display feedback for targets; a headphone frequency is listed at 452 kHz for the supplied headphone.

The GFX7000 is equipped with an 11-inch high-sensitivity detecting coil. The larger coil improves sensitivity and penetration, and the double-design coil suits horizontal pushing operations such as searching over desert terrain.

Detection depth depends on target size, metal type, soil mineralization and ground conditions. The GFX7000 is engineered for stronger penetration and improved depth compared with many detectors, but exact depth varies by scenario.

The detector is powered by a high-capacity rechargeable Li‑ion battery and includes a low-battery indicator. Runtime varies with usage, settings and battery condition; the unit is designed for long continuous operation.

Yes, the GFX7000 is supplied with headphones so only the user hears the detection audio. This helps keep searching quiet for others nearby.

Yes—the detector is designed to be fit for various kinds of soil and offers stable performance with fewer false alarms. It is also optimized for wide-area searches like deserts using horizontal coil sweeps.

Working temperature range: 12 °C to 60 °C. Storage temperature range: -28 °C to 65 °C.

Product weight is approximately 2.6 kg. Product dimensions are listed as 78 x 34.5 x 15 cm.

The standard package includes the GFX7000 detector with the 11-inch detecting coil, a high-capacity rechargeable Li‑ion battery and headphones. (Check the seller's product listing for any additional accessories included.)

Basic setup: attach and secure the detecting coil and shaft, connect any coil cable, install/charge the battery, power on the unit, perform ground balance if necessary, select discrimination/recognition mode, and begin sweeping slowly over the search area while watching the LCD and listening for tones.

Try redoing ground balance, reduce sensitivity if you are in highly mineralized soil or near interference sources, use discrimination/recognition settings to reject unwanted targets, ensure the coil is properly connected and clean, and move slowly when sweeping. If problems persist, check the battery charge and connections.

Keep the coil and control box clean and dry, avoid submerging non-waterproof parts, store the detector within the recommended temperature range, keep the battery charged when not in long-term storage, and inspect cables/connections for wear. Follow any additional care instructions provided by the seller or user manual.
