JKMF Flowpack Machine has already proven itself many times over in the confectionery, snack and food industries. It is extremely popular in the baked goods industry: When packing the sensitive baked goods into flowpacks, manufacturers benefit in a special way from the product-friendly, efficient packaging solution.

With the integrated solution from JKMF Machinery, virtually all product configurations in flowpacks are possible. The pick & place robots process naked products or products already packaged in primary packaging, and pre-group them in numerous variants for the flow-wrapping machine. Single, stacked, side by side or on top of each other, with or without trays – the possibilities are close to endless.

Machine Control Center

The packaging parameters setting is set on the HMI screen (human machine interface).

A pulse is generated for machine movement, and this is transferred to the PLC (programmable logic controller).

Film Holder with Date Printer

When the HFFS packaging machine is operating, the film is usually pulled off the roll by film transport belts, which are positioned to the side of the forming tube which is located at the front of the machine.

A date printer can be installed on the film holder, so that the production date and other information can be printed on the film of the packaging.

Adjustable Bag Former

The film enters a forming tube assembly.

As it crests the shoulder (collar) on the forming tube, it is folded around the tube so that the end result is a length of film with the two outer edges of the film overlapping each other.

Middle Bag Heat Sealing Device

The horizontal seal bar, which is hot, moves forward and makes contact with the horizontal overlap on the film, bonding the layers of film together.

Bag Heat Sealing Cutting Device

A set of heated horizontal sealing jaws come together to make the top seal of one bag and the bottom seal of the next bag. While the sealing jaws are closed, the product that is being packaged is dropped down the middle of the hollow forming tube and filled into the bag.
