Full Automatic Industrial Small Retort Pouch Pet Food Water Spray Autoclave Sterilizer Retort Machine

The machine is a full-automatic horizontal water-spray autoclave (retort) designed to sterilize retort pouches and other heat-stable packaged goods, primarily for pet food, laboratory samples, and food-industry products.

It uses a water spray sterilization method driven by boiler steam to provide rapid and uniform heat transfer for effective sterilization.

Working temperature is 121°C, normal sterilization range listed is 134–135°C, and the design (maximum) temperature is 147°C. Actual process parameters should be set per product requirements.

Power consumption is 6 kW. Voltage options are 220V or 380V; specific electrical configuration should be confirmed when ordering.

Overall dimensions are 1800 × 900 × 600 mm (L × W × H) and the machine weight is approximately 1000 kg.

The machine is constructed from durable SUS304 stainless steel for good corrosion resistance and hygienic properties.

The unit is full automatic, handling programmed sterilization cycles, water spray control and cycle sequencing to minimize manual intervention. Operator inputs are required for program selection and loading/unloading.

It is optimized for retort pouches (pet food pouches) and other heat-stable packaged goods. Compatibility with specific pouch sizes, shapes, and alternative containers should be verified with the supplier based on rack/tray configuration.

Cycle time depends on product type, fill, pouch size, and selected sterilization program. Typical retort cycles vary widely; please consult the manufacturer's recommended cycle development for precise times.

Standard safety features include pressure and temperature interlocks, automatic door locking during cycles, emergency stop, and protections associated with boiler-steam heating. Specific features should be confirmed on the model supplied.

Routine maintenance includes cleaning spray headers and chamber surfaces, checking seals and gaskets, inspecting valves and piping, descaling if hard water is used, and periodic calibration of temperature/pressure sensors as per the supplier's maintenance schedule.

Installation and commissioning policies vary by supplier—many offer on-site installation, start-up assistance, and operator training. Confirm scope and costs with the vendor at purchase.

Yes. The retort can be validated—suppliers commonly support IQ/OQ/PQ and provide documentation. Validation protocols should be planned with quality/engineering teams to meet regulatory or customer requirements.

Recommended spares typically include door gaskets, spray nozzles, pressure/temperature sensors, safety valves, and common seals/o-rings. The supplier can provide a parts list and recommended stocking levels.

Many manufacturers offer customization (rack/tray layouts, control software, voltage options) and different sizes/configurations to meet throughput needs. Discuss throughput targets and package types with the vendor to determine suitable options.
