Fruit Freeze Dryer Home Use 7kg Food Freeze Dry Machine

The machine has a 7 kg capacity per run. This refers to the approximate fresh weight of produce you can load; final freeze-dried weight will be much lower depending on moisture content.

This model runs on 110V/60Hz and consumes up to 1400W. It can typically plug into a standard household outlet, but avoid running other heavy appliances on the same circuit while operating.

Drying time depends on the food type, piece size and moisture level. Typical runs range from about 18 to 40 hours. The machine’s automatic settings manage the freeze and drying phases, but tougher or wetter foods take longer.

Designed for fruits and vegetables, it can also handle many other foods such as cooked meats, dairy (yogurt, cheese bits), herbs, and pet food. Always follow the user manual for recommended preparation and load layouts.

Unit dimensions are 540 x 458 x 719 mm. Allow extra clearance around the unit for ventilation and to access doors/trays comfortably.

Yes — it features automatic settings that control freezing and drying stages. Beginners should still read the manual for loading guidance, cycle selection and safety tips for best results.

Store in airtight containers or vacuum-sealed bags with oxygen absorbers, in a cool, dark place. Properly packaged freeze-dried foods can last years; for best quality, many household users expect multi-year shelf life (often 1–25 years depending on packaging and storage conditions).

Unplug before cleaning. Remove trays and wipe or wash them per manual instructions. Wipe the interior and gasket with a mild detergent. Maintain the vacuum pump according to the manufacturer’s schedule (oil changes if applicable) and inspect seals regularly.

Most home freeze dryer packages include removable trays and an integrated vacuum pump. Check the specific product listing or retailer confirmation to see the exact accessories included with your purchase.

The machine produces typical vacuum pump and compressor noise during operation. It’s louder than a refrigerator but generally suitable for home use; place it in a well-ventilated area away from living or sleeping spaces if noise is a concern.

Follow the user manual. Key precautions include operating on a flat, stable surface, providing adequate ventilation, keeping the unit dry, not blocking vents, and unplugging before cleaning or maintenance. Keep children away during operation.

The unit weighs approximately 65.5 kg. It’s a heavy appliance designed to remain in one location rather than be frequently moved.

Yes — freeze-dried foods are lightweight and ideal for backpacking and camping. Rehydrate with water or eat as-is depending on the food and your preference.

Freeze drying removes water by sublimation (frozen ice turns directly to vapor), preserving more texture, flavor and nutrients than air dehydration. Freeze-dried foods rehydrate faster and generally retain a fresher flavor and higher nutrient levels.
