Yes. The DR-GL-34T is designed for both professional and DIY/home use—offering heavy-duty 34-ton force with a user-friendly operation.

Wear eye and hearing protection and sturdy gloves, operate on a flat stable surface, keep hands and feet away from the wedge and moving parts, secure logs before splitting, remove nails or metal from logs, never leave the engine running unattended, and follow all safety instructions in the operator manual.

Use the hydraulic oil and engine oil grades recommended in the operator manual or by the engine manufacturer. If a specific grade is not listed, consult the engine's documentation (common small gasoline engines often use SAE 10W-30 for general use). Always use clean, high-quality hydraulic fluid meeting the manufacturer's specifications.

Regular maintenance includes checking hydraulic fluid level and condition, inspecting hoses and fittings for leaks, changing engine oil and oil filter per the engine manufacturer's schedule, cleaning/changing the air filter, and checking spark plug condition. Follow the maintenance intervals in the operator manual for exact service points.

Basic first-time steps: mount the splitter securely on a level surface, check and fill engine oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluid as directed, inspect for shipping damage and loose bolts, follow the engine start-up procedure in the manual (choke/throttle settings as required), and perform a test cycle with no log in place to confirm proper operation. Refer to the assembly section of the manual for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Check hydraulic fluid level and cleanliness, inspect for air in the hydraulic system, verify proper engine fuel, spark plug condition, and air filter cleanliness, ensure control valves are opening fully, and look for damaged hoses or fittings. If you cannot identify the issue, contact authorized service.

Replacement parts and service are typically available through the manufacturer or authorized dealers. Provide the model number DR-GL-34T and a description of the needed part when contacting parts support.

The product listing does not specify a wheel kit. Many splitters can be moved with optional wheel kits or by using lifting equipment. Check the product accessories or contact the seller to confirm if a wheel kit or trailer mount is available.

Store in a dry, covered location. For long-term storage, drain or stabilize fuel, change the engine oil, disconnect the battery if applicable, protect exposed metal from corrosion, and follow any winterization steps in the operator manual.

Warranty and certification information is not included in the general listing. Contact the seller or manufacturer for details on warranty coverage, duration, and any safety or emissions certifications that may apply to your region.
