There are two impellers on the two parallel shafts. There are tiny gap between impellers to thebody casing, also between impellers. When the impellers rotate in opposite directions, certain airwill be absorbed at inlet port and transferred to the outlet port.Each impeller always keeps the correct phase by the synchronous gear without touching eachother. So they can rotate at high speed without any lubrication inside. And it is simple structure,running smoothly, and perform stably.
