Product Description
It is mainly used for cooling of pellet feed in the feed pelleting section. It cools the pellet feed coming from pellet mill and with a temperature 70~ 90 degree to a temperature 3~5 degree slightly higher than ambient temperature, and is capable of lowering to a safety moisture content. Th cooled pellets not only improve the pellet firmness but also can prevent from going mouldy, that it is good for the transportation and storage of pellet feed.

MAIN STRUCTURE AND WORKING PRINCIPLE
It mainly consists of rotary air-closed feeder, rhombic taper spreader, cooling bin, upper and lower level indicators, sight
glass, machine frame, hopper and discharging mechanism. The process is as follows: Pellet feed with high temperature and high humidity coming from pellet mill passes through the rotaryair-closed feeder at the top of cooler and rhombic taper spreader at the top of bin and is evenly spreaded in five ways, front,rear, left, right and middle, to flow into the cooling bin. At the beginning, pellet feed piles up gradually. When feed reachesthe upper level indicator, motor is turned on and discharging mechanism starts to work. Motor drives the discharging grid to moveleft and right reciprocally through reducer and eccentric mechanism. When the relative position between discharging grid andstationary grid reaches a certain extent, feed is discharged to the hopper through the gap of discharging grid and stationarygrid. When the relative position between discharging grid and stationary grid staggers, feed is not discharged. When dischargingexceeds feeding and pellet feed layer in the machine drops to the lower level indicator, motor and discharging stop while feedingcontinue. When feed layer touches upper level indicator, working starts again. In the whole working process of cooler, fan keeps
working. Feed flows downwards, while air flows upwards opposite to the flowing direction of feed, furthermore, cool air meets coolfeed and hot air meets hot feed so as to make pellet feed cool gradually. Therefore, this cooler is called counterflow cooler.When pellet feed stays in the bin, it makes heat exchange with the coming cool air, and air carries off heat and moisture of feed,serving to cool the feed and reduce the moisture content.
