Electric Rail Cutting Machine Steel Rail Cutter Saw

The product description lists a petrol engine with rated power 6.5 HP (≈4.8 kW). Although the product name mentions "Electric," the spec provided indicates a petrol-driven unit — please confirm with the supplier whether the model is petrol or electric before purchase.

The maximum cutting linear velocity is specified as Vmax = 80 m/s.

The grinding wheel (cutting wheel) size is Φ400 × Φ32 × 4 mm (outer diameter 400 mm, bore 32 mm, thickness 4 mm).

Profile precision is high: verticality tolerance ≤ 0.5 mm and horizontal tolerance ≤ 0.35 mm, which yields smooth, clean cuts with no bluing according to the specification.

The specification does not list explicit rail section limits. It is designed for steel rail cutting; for specific rail profiles and maximum section dimensions, confirm with the supplier as allowable cutting capacity depends on blade, machine setup, and guards.

Machine weight is ≤ 43 kg. The wooden box packing dimensions are 830 × 580 × 580 mm.

The cut profile is described as smooth and clean with no bluing (no temper discoloration) when used with the proper wheel and cutting procedure.

Inspect the wheel before each use for cracks, wear, or damage. Replace the wheel if you observe excessive wear, vibration, chipping, or any cracks. Follow the wheel manufacturer's guidelines for safe service life and replacement intervals.

Typical maintenance includes checking and tightening fasteners, inspecting and replacing worn cutting wheels, maintaining the engine (if petrol) — oil changes, air filter cleaning/replacement, spark plug inspection — and lubricating any moving parts per the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Clean the machine after use to prevent debris buildup.

Wear appropriate PPE: safety goggles/face shield, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves, and steel-toe boots. Ensure guards are in place, secure the rail before cutting, keep bystanders clear, and follow the manufacturer's start/stop and emergency procedures. Do not operate the machine while fatigued or under the influence.

The specification lists a petrol engine (6.5 HP). Use the fuel type recommended by the engine manufacturer (typically unleaded gasoline of the specified octane). Refer to the engine manual for the correct starting procedure and choke/throttle settings.

The description does not list included accessories or spare parts. Common items to request or order are extra cutting wheels, wheel nuts/bolts, guards, replacement engine parts (filters, spark plugs), and a tool kit. Check with the supplier for standard accessories.

A petrol engine and high-speed cutting wheel will produce significant noise and exhaust emissions. Use hearing protection and operate in well-ventilated outdoor areas. For exact decibel and emission figures, ask the manufacturer or supplier for measured data.

Warranty and service terms are not provided in the spec. Contact the seller or manufacturer for warranty duration, coverage details, authorized service centers, and spare parts availability.

Provide the supplier with your rail type, section dimensions, required cut quality, and expected daily cutting volume. Ask for machine cutting capacity data, sample cut photos, and any application references to confirm suitability.
