This mounted chain trencher is designed for trenching on soft-soil ground. It produces a 20 cm-wide trench with a working depth of up to 120 cm and operates at a working speed of 200–300 metres per hour.
The trencher is equipped with a 50-link alloy chain and manganese steel blades. It is compatible with tractors providing 50–80 horsepower. The tractor must have dual forced pressure, hydraulic output and an ultra-low-speed creeper gear.
For suitable operation, the tractor’s travel speed must be tested at high throttle while engaged in its slowest gear. It must not exceed 5 metres per minute under these conditions.
