Carbon Fiber Leather Car Steering Wheel

This steering wheel is listed as compatible with many Tesla models including Model 3, Model S, Model X, Model Y (various trims such as RWD Long Range, AWD Long Range, AWD Performance), Tesla Roadster, and specific variants (e.g., Model 3 Performance, Model X 70D). Covered year ranges in the listing include multiple windows from about 2008 through 2021 and newer — however exact fitment depends on the specific vehicle year and trim. Always verify compatibility for your exact VIN or model-year combination with the seller before ordering.

Most aftermarket steering wheels are sold without the OEM airbag module and may not include your vehicle's switch clusters. You will normally need to transfer the factory airbag, horn, and control modules from your original wheel. Confirm the item description with the seller to be certain.

For many Tesla model-year combinations this is designed as a direct replacement that uses the factory mounting points and wiring, but some variations may require minor adjustments. Professional confirmation of fitment and a pre-order check with the seller are recommended to ensure true bolt-on compatibility with your exact vehicle.

If your original wheel had steering-wheel heating you will likely need to transfer the heating element and connectors to the new wheel. Some aftermarket wheels do not include the heater pad. Confirm with the seller whether the product supports the heated function for your specific model and whether the heater must be transferred from the original wheel.

Yes — provided you correctly transfer the original control modules/wiring and connector assemblies from your factory steering wheel to the new wheel. Proper reconnection and alignment are required to retain full functionality.

Because the steering wheel contains safety systems (airbag/SRS) and vehicle controls, professional installation by an experienced technician is strongly recommended. If you attempt DIY installation, follow Tesla and SRS safety procedures (disconnect 12V battery and wait the recommended time, handle airbag modules safely).

Yes. Improper removal or installation of the airbag or wiring can cause SRS faults or accidental airbag deployment. Always disconnect the 12V power and follow OEM safety procedures, use correct torque on fasteners, and have SRS/system diagnostics checked after installation to ensure no fault codes.

This product is described as a carbon fiber and leather steering wheel — typically meaning carbon-fiber-style trim (real or composite) combined with leather wrapping on the grip areas. Finish options (gloss/matte carbon, leather colors, stitching styles) vary by seller and specific listing.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild leather cleaner/conditioner for the leather sections. Wipe carbon-fiber trim with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap if needed; avoid abrasive cleaners, strong solvents, bleach or ammonia-based products that can damage leather finishes or clearcoats.

Aftermarket parts and any modification may affect portions of your vehicle warranty depending on regional laws and Tesla's policy. Installing an aftermarket wheel should not prevent standard diagnostics, but mismatched or incorrectly installed components can trigger fault codes. Check with Tesla or your dealer for warranty guidance and have a professional verify post-install diagnostics.

Return policies and warranties vary by seller and marketplace. The product listing or seller page should state the exact return window, restocking fees (if any), and warranty duration/coverage. Confirm these details before purchase.

Provide your VIN, exact model, trim, and model year to the seller or consult the seller’s compatibility chart. Many sellers can confirm fitment if you send your VIN or a photo of the existing steering wheel and its connector harness.

Customization options (leather color, stitching color, gloss vs. matte carbon, Alcantara inserts) depend on the manufacturer/seller. Check the product listing or contact the seller to learn what options are available and whether there is an extra cost for custom finishes.

Many aftermarket steering wheels are produced to fit both LHD and RHD vehicles if the bolt pattern and wiring are the same, but some models differ. Confirm compatibility for LHD vs RHD with the seller before ordering.

Shipping times and import/customs fees depend on the seller’s warehouse location and your country. International shipments may incur customs duties or taxes. Check estimated delivery times and any potential import charges on the product page or ask the seller directly.
