Bossworth 35 Ton 15 HP Hydraulic Wood Splitting Machine Horizontal Log Splitter

Model HVG-35T. 15 HP gasoline engine, 35-ton maximum splitting force, max splitting diameter 610 mm, weight 315 kg, dimensions 2100 x 650 x 650 mm. Condition: New.

It uses a 15 HP gasoline engine. Use fresh, recommended-grade gasoline and follow the engine manufacturer's maintenance schedule in the operator manual.

It can split logs up to 610 mm (about 24 inches) in diameter. Maximum workable log length depends on the cylinder stroke and bed length—refer to the owner manual or seller for the exact maximum log length.

This is a horizontal log splitter, designed for stability and ease of use in the horizontal splitting position.

Cycle time varies with hydraulic settings, log size and operator technique. Typical hydraulic horizontal splitters cycle roughly 10–25 seconds per cycle. Actual times will vary—test with your logs to determine real-world cycle time.

Use a high-quality hydraulic oil recommended for log splitters—many users choose an ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil, but you should follow the owner manual for the exact specification. Inspect fluid level and condition regularly; follow the manual or seller recommendations for change intervals (typically seasonally or every set number of operating hours).

Wear safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Operate on level ground, keep bystanders and children away, never place hands near the wedge while operating, secure logs properly, shut off the engine and disconnect the spark plug before maintenance, and never exceed the rated 35-ton capacity.

The product listing states it includes a machinery test report for quality assurance. Warranty coverage is not specified—contact the seller or dealer for details on warranty terms, duration and registration procedures.

The unit weighs 315 kg and has compact dimensions (2100 x 650 x 650 mm). It can be transported on a trailer or truck bed. Because of the weight, use appropriate lifting equipment or multiple people and secure it during transport. Confirm if the unit includes mounting points or wheels with the seller.

Perform daily visual inspections, check hydraulic fluid, engine oil and fuel before use, tighten fasteners, inspect hoses and fittings for leaks, change engine oil and filter per engine manufacturer intervals, and service hydraulic components per the operator manual.

Replacement parts (wedge, hoses, pump components, engine parts) are commonly available through the manufacturer or dealer. Contact the seller or Bossworth support with model HVG-35T and serial number to order parts and verify compatibility.

Yes — with its 15 HP engine and 35-ton force it is suitable for heavy residential and many commercial or farm tasks. For continuous commercial workloads, follow maintenance schedules and verify duty-cycle expectations with the manufacturer or dealer.

Some assembly and setup are typically required (mounting the wedge, connecting hydraulic lines, filling fluids). Exact requirements vary—refer to the included assembly and operator manual. Basic hand tools and possibly lifting equipment are usually needed.

Use fresh unleaded gasoline appropriate for the 15 HP engine and the engine oil grade recommended by the engine manufacturer (check the engine manual). Do not use ethanol blends beyond the engine maker's specification and avoid old or contaminated fuel.

The gasoline engine and hydraulic pump produce typical engine noise; use hearing protection. Also wear eye protection, gloves, steel-toe boots and close-fitting clothing. Maintain safe distances for bystanders.
