The 3MB9817 cylinder honing machine is built for precision honing of cylinder bores in automobiles, motorcycles, and tractors, and can also be adapted for honing other hole diameters when fitted with the appropriate jigs. It's a solid choice for engine rebuild shops, machine shops, and manufacturing operations requiring accurate, repeatable cylinder finishing.
This machine handles honing hole diameters from 25mm to 170mm, with a maximum honing depth of 320mm — covering a wide range of cylinder sizes across different engine types. The main shaft offers four selectable rotation speeds (120, 160, 225, 290 r/min) and three stroke rates (35, 44, 60 s/min), giving operators flexibility to match honing parameters to the material and finish required. Horizontal motion distance of the main shaft is 900mm, and the machine table lifts up to 150mm for convenient workpiece positioning.
Powered by a 1.5kW main motor and a 0.125kW cooling pump, both running on 380V, 3-phase, 50Hz power, the machine is equipped with an integrated cooling system to manage heat and swarf during operation — visible through the machine's transparent enclosure for easy monitoring.
Built at 820kg with overall dimensions of 164016701920mm (LWH), this honing machine is a robust, stable platform suited for continuous workshop use.
