27t Firewood Wood Holzspalter Processor DW380

There are three models: DW380, DW480 and DW580. They differ mainly in splitting force, maximum splitting diameter, engine power and weight. DW380: 15T force, 400 mm max diameter, 15 HP gas engine, 700 kg. DW480: 20T force, 500 mm max diameter, 15 HP gas engine, 800 kg. DW580: 30T force, 600 mm max diameter, 27 HP gas engine, 870 kg.

The standard maximum splitting length is 600 mm (24 inches) for these models.

Maximum splitting diameters are: DW380 – 400 mm (16 in), DW480 – 500 mm (20 in), DW580 – 600 mm (24 in).

DW380 and DW480 are equipped with 15 HP gasoline (GAS) engines; DW580 is equipped with a 27 HP gasoline engine.

The processor supports Manual and Hydraulic control cutting modes.

The cycle time is approximately 8 seconds.

The chain saw speed operates between 3000 and 4000 RPM.

Splitting wedge options include 4-way, 6-way and 8-way configurations.

A 1.5-year (18 months) warranty is provided. For details on what is covered and warranty registration, contact the seller or manufacturer.

Approximate weights are: DW380 – 700 kg, DW480 – 800 kg, DW580 – 870 kg.

These models use gasoline (GAS) engines. Use the fuel and oil recommendations specified in the engine manufacturer's manual (unleaded gasoline and proper oil grade).

The product supports hydraulic-control cutting mode. Confirm with your supplier whether the machine is supplied pre-configured with the hydraulic pump, hoses and controls or if hydraulic options are fitted as an extra.

Always follow operator manual instructions. Typical requirements include using PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, steel-toe boots), keeping guards and emergency stop functional, training operators, and ensuring safe log handling procedures. Verify all safety features prior to operation.

Common options include different splitting wedge configurations, conveyor or outfeed systems, log lifters/rollers and trailer or mounting kits. Availability varies by supplier—check with your dealer for exact options.

Because weights range from ~700–870 kg, you will likely need a forklift or crane for unloading and placement. Professional installation and commissioning are recommended. Confirm transport dimensions and any local lift/placement requirements with the seller before shipping.
