11040-MA00A 11041-MA00A 11040-8H301 11040-8H302 cylinder head for Nissan QR20 /QR25

These cylinder heads are specified for Nissan QR20 and QR25 engines. Confirm compatibility with your exact engine code (e.g., QR20DE, QR25DE) and VIN before purchasing.

The different model numbers represent specific part numbers, revisions, or market variants of the cylinder head. They may correspond to slight casting changes or fitment for particular engine variants. Always verify the correct part number for your vehicle using the OEM part number, engine code, or VIN.

The product description states it meets OEM standards as a high-quality replacement. Whether it is an OEM-manufactured unit or an aftermarket unit built to OEM specifications depends on the seller—check the item listing or contact the supplier for confirmation.

The listing lists 'cylinder head' under Material. Many Nissan QR-series cylinder heads are typically cast aluminum, but materials can vary. Confirm the exact material with the seller if material composition is critical.

The description does not specify included components. Some listings sell bare heads, while others supply fully assembled heads. Check the product details or ask the seller which internal components (valves, springs, camshafts, seals) are included before ordering.

Most replacement cylinder heads benefit from inspection and possible machine work (resurfacing, valve seat and guide work, pressure testing) to ensure proper sealing and longevity. If the head is new and certified, less work may be needed; verify with the seller and your engine builder.

Yes — it can be used as part of a performance build, but additional modifications (porting, larger valves, upgraded valve springs, camshafts, and proper tuning) are typically required. Consult a performance engine builder for recommended modifications.

Confirm fitment by comparing the OEM part number, engine code (QR20/QR25 variations), and VIN with the seller’s compatibility information. If unsure, provide your VIN or engine code to the supplier for verification.

The product listing does not include torque specs or installation instructions. Always follow the Nissan service manual for correct torque values, sequence, and installation procedures when fitting a cylinder head.

The description does not state specific warranty terms. Warranty coverage (duration and terms) depends on the manufacturer or seller. Ask the seller for warranty details, return policy, and any coverage for defects or premature failure.

The listing does not mention a core charge. Whether a core is required depends on the seller’s policy. Check the product page or contact the seller to learn if a core deposit or exchange is required.

Common items replaced during cylinder head installation include the head gasket, head bolts/studs (often torque-to-yield bolts should be replaced), valve seals, timing components if disturbed, and coolant/engine seals. Follow the service manual and your mechanic’s recommendations.

Inspect for obvious damage, cracks, warping, and cleanliness. Check mating surfaces for flatness, verify threaded holes and bolt bosses, and confirm all pre-specified components (if any) are present. If concerned, have the head pressure-tested and checked by a machine shop before installation.

Shipping and lead times depend on the seller and your location. Contact the supplier for international shipping options, estimated transit times, packaging, and any import duties or restrictions. Larger engine parts may have longer handling times.
