(2) The separator should have sufficient strength and rigidity.
The diaphragm bears a level of pressure difference in the turbine, and the pressure difference is sometimes quite large in the high-pressure part, so it must be guaranteed that there is sufficient strength: the gap between the separator and the impeller is generally not large, in order to prevent the diaphragm from producing excessive deflection after being stressed and causing the dynamic and static parts of the steam turbine to collide and wear, it must also ensure that it has sufficient rigidity. (3) Good air tightness. The middle surface of the partition plate and the matching surface with the cylinder and the matching surface of the partition plate and the partition sleeve should have good vapor tightness to prevent interstage steam leakage; The groove of the separator and the mating surface of the separator steam seal ring should also have sufficient sealing. 4) Concentric with the rotor. The separator should not only ensure that it is well aligned with the rotor during installation, but also ensure that it can be aligned with the rotor unchanged or rarely changed after being heated and expanded during operation. (5) The material of the partition working in the high-temperature area should have sufficient high-temperature resistance; The separator working in the wet steam area should have good resistance to water erosion. For the condensing unit, the last few stages of the separator are generally considered because they work in the wet steam area: there is a trap on the inlet side of the outer ring, and there is a dehumidification ring on the outlet side to reduce the water erosion of the moving blades. While ensuring high efficiency and economy, the structure and process should be simple, and the processing man-hours should be less.
