Flotation machine is the abbreviation of floating concentrator, which refers to the mechanical equipment to complete the flotation process. In the floatation machine, the slurry is treated by mixing and aerating, so that some of the ore particles are selectively fixed on the bubbles, and the floating surface is scraped out to form foam products, while the rest is retained in the pulp to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are many structural forms of flotation machine, and the most commonly used one is mechanical stirring flotation machine.
Application
It is mainly used for the separation of copper, zinc, lead, nickel, gold and other non-ferrous metals, and can also be used for the roughing and cleaning of ferrous metals and nonmetals.
Working principle
The floatation machine is driven by the triangle belt of the motor to drive the impeller to rotate, resulting in centrifugal action to form negative pressure. On the one hand, the sufficient air is mixed with the slurry. On the one hand, the slurry is mixed with the medicine, and the foam is refined at the same time, so that the mineral adheres to the foam and floats to the slurry surface to form a mineralized foam. Adjust the height of the gate and control the liquid level, so that the useful foam is scraped out by the scraper. The separation ring rotates slowly. When the separation chamber enters the floating field area, the selected materials are sent to six separation points through the pulp distributor, and the weakly magnetic mineral particles are absorbed on the toothed plate and rotate with the separation ring. Under the action of gravity and pulp flow, the non-magnetic mineral particles pass through the gap of the toothed plate and discharge into the tailings tank at the lower part of the separation ring. When the separation room is transferred to the middling cleaning position, a small amount of cleaning water is fed to wash the gangue, synbiotic and slime into the tailings tank (the machine does not have a middling tank), so as to improve the quality of concentrate. When the separation chamber is turned to the position with weak magnetic field (concentrate washing area), pressure water is injected to flush the weakly magnetic ore particles absorbed on the toothed plate into the concentrate tank. After that, the separation chamber turns to another magnetic field with opposite polarity. The separation ring rotates once, and each separation chamber repeats this six times.
Structural features
The aerated agitated flotation machine is equipped with mechanical stirring device, and forced air is blown into the flotation machine with external characteristics. However, the mechanical stirring device generally only plays the role of mixing pulp and distributing air flow. The air is mainly pressed into pulp by external fan, and aeration and mixing are separated. Therefore, this kind of flotation machine has the following characteristics compared with the general mechanical stirring flotation machine:
1、 The aeration rate can be increased or decreased according to the demand and can be easily adjusted and kept constant, which is conducive to improving the processing capacity and separation index of the flotation machine; 2、 The impeller has no suction function, so the speed is low, the power consumption is small, and the brittle minerals are not easy to produce mud phenomenon; 3、 Due to the large processing capacity and shallow tank, the power consumption per unit capacity is low. The disadvantage is that a set of compressed air system is needed, and the sand pump is used to lift the intermediate products back. There are chf-x, xjc, bs-c, KYF, bs-k, lch-x, CLF and so on.
