Frequently Asked Questions

What is the TQZ8560 Valve Seat Cutting and Boring Machine used for?

The TQZ8560 is a high-precision machine for rebuilding and repairing valve seats and valve rod holes in engine cylinder heads. It performs valve seat cutting, boring and includes tooling grinder and vacuum tightness testing.

What boring diameter range does the TQZ8560 support?

The machine supports a boring diameter range of Φ14 mm to Φ60 mm.

What is the maximum workpiece size the machine can handle?

Maximum cylinder head dimensions it can accept are L × W × H = 1200 × 500 × 300 mm.

What are the motor power and spindle speed specifications?

Motor power is 1.2 kW. The spindle is driven by a frequency motor with stepless speeds from 0 to 1000 rpm.

What are the spindle travel and movement ranges?

Spindle travel is 200 mm. Spindle movement (cross × longitudinal) is 950 × 35 mm.

What is the clamper swing angle range?

The clamper swing angle ranges from +45° down to -15°.

How does the machine achieve high accuracy and centering?

It uses an air-floating auto-centering system together with vacuum clamping to minimize friction and movement during machining, delivering high accuracy and repeatability.

Does the machine include a cutter grinder and vacuum test device?

Yes. The TQZ8560 includes an on-board tool grinder for regrinding cutters and supplies a vacuum test device to check valve tightness after machining.

Can I get cutters with custom seat angles?

Yes. The manufacturer supplies various angle cutters; custom cutter angles can be provided per order.

What compressed air supply is required?

Required air supply pressure is 0.7 MPa (7 bar) and air flow approximately 300 L/min. Clean, dry compressed air is recommended.

What are the machine overall and packing dimensions and weight?

Overall dimensions: 1480 × 1050 × 2270 mm. Packing dimensions: 1900 × 1300 × 2200 mm. Net/Gross weight: 1050 / 1250 kg.

What maintenance is recommended for reliable operation?

Regularly clean and dry the compressed air supply (filters/drains), check and maintain vacuum pump and seals, keep the grinder wheel in good condition, lubricate moving parts per supplier instructions, and perform routine alignment checks.

What safety and installation considerations should I know?

Install on a stable, level floor with sufficient clearance for access. Ensure correct and clean compressed air supply, proper electrical supply (confirm voltage with supplier), use appropriate PPE when operating, and follow lockout/tagout procedures for maintenance.

Is the TQZ8560 suitable for different engine types and valve seat materials?

Yes. It is widely used for various engine cylinder heads and valve seat materials encountered in automotive, diesel and small engine repair. For specific material applications or exotic alloys, consult the supplier for recommended cutters and speeds.

What about warranty, spare parts and training?

Warranty terms, spare parts availability and training/installation support are provided by the manufacturer or authorized dealer. Contact your supplier for specific warranty details, spare-parts kits and on-site or remote training options.
