Stainless Steel Vacuum Freeze Dryer Machine for Pet Freeze-Dried Food Cat Food Dog Food

It is used to produce freeze-dried cat and dog food and pet snacks by removing water under vacuum at low temperature, preserving nutrients, flavor and texture for long-term storage. It is suitable for pet food manufacturers and, depending on the model and site requirements, some small-scale/home users.

Brand: SBN. Voltage: 380V 50Hz. Power: 70–240 kW (model dependent). Weight: 68 kg (listed). Core components: PLC, engine, bearing, gearbox, motor, pressure vessel, gear, pump. Service engineers are available. Dimensions are listed as 36000*25000*35000 mm in the spec sheet—please confirm with the supplier as that appears to be a data-entry error.

The product description says it can be used at home, but the electrical requirements (380V and high power range) are industrial-level. Confirm the specific model, power rating and local electrical availability with the supplier before planning home installation.

Batch capacity is not specified in the provided description and depends on the model and number/size of trays. Contact the supplier for model-specific tray count, net load per tray and expected throughput.

Cycle time varies with product type, thickness and moisture content. Typical freeze-drying cycles for pet food commonly range from about 12 to 48 hours. Exact times should be established by testing recipes on the specific machine.

You can freeze-dry raw and cooked meats, organs, fruits, vegetables, complete meals, and treats for cats and dogs. Some formulations may require pre-treatment (e.g., blanching or grinding) for best results—test each recipe.

Typical steps: prepare and pre-freeze food as recommended, load onto trays, place trays in the freezing chamber, program the freeze-dry profile via the PLC/user interface, start the vacuum and heating/sublimation cycle, monitor the run, and unload when the program and vacuum stability indicate dryness. Refer to the operator manual for model-specific procedures.

Freeze-drying removes water by sublimation at low temperatures under vacuum, which minimizes heat-related nutrient degradation and preserves volatile flavors and the food's structure better than traditional dehydration.

The listed electrical requirement is 380V 50Hz and the power range is 70–240 kW depending on model. This usually requires three-phase industrial power and professional electrical installation. Proper foundation, ventilation and space for vacuum pumps and service access are also needed—confirm site requirements with the supplier.

Because it is stainless steel, external and tray surfaces are easy to clean. Regular maintenance typically includes cleaning trays and chambers after use, checking and replacing vacuum pump oil and seals per the pump manufacturer's schedule, inspecting gaskets, and following the machine's preventive maintenance checklist. Service engineers are available for installation and maintenance support.

The machine includes PLC control and is built around a pressure vessel and vacuum system—expect emergency stop controls and interlocks on most models. Always follow the operator manual, wear appropriate PPE when handling raw food, ensure pressure vessel inspections as required by local regulations, and arrange professional electrical and mechanical installation.

Certifications are not listed in the provided description. Request documentation from the supplier for CE, ISO, HACCP or other relevant certifications and compliance records before purchase if required for your market or facility.

Yes—core components are listed (PLC, pump, motor, gearbox, pressure vessel, etc.) and the description notes that service engineers are available. Ask the supplier about spare parts availability, lead times and on-site service options.

Shelf life depends on product formulation and packaging. Properly freeze-dried and hermetically sealed pet food (with oxygen absorbers and moisture-proof packaging) can have a significantly extended shelf life. For typical pet food products, manufacturers often see 1–2 years or longer under ideal storage—conduct stability testing to determine exact shelf life for your recipes.

The description does not specify warranty terms. Contact the supplier to confirm warranty length, what is covered, start-of-service procedures, and available after-sales support packages including training and spare-part agreements.
