Small Scale Lyophilizer Machine Fruit Vegetable Candy Vacuum Freeze Dryer

This vacuum freeze dryer is designed to preserve taste and nutrition by removing moisture from fruits, vegetables and candies using a low-temperature vacuum process—ideal for small-scale food processing, snack production and R&D.

It is suitable for a wide range of foods including fresh fruits, vegetables, confectionery (candies), herbs and other small-batch food items that benefit from freeze drying.

The machine is available in three power configurations: 750 W, 1100 W and 2300 W. Standard operating voltage is 220 V; confirm compatibility with your local supply before installation.

Key contact parts and the pressure vessel are available in food-grade stainless steel options including SUS304, SUS304L, SUS316 and SUS316L for durability and corrosion resistance.

The core components include a vacuum pump, PLC (programmable logic controller) for automatic control, and a certified pressure vessel.

It uses electric heating to provide controlled shelf temperatures as part of the freeze-drying profile, managed automatically by the PLC.

Yes. The unit features automatic controls (via PLC) to run preset freeze-drying cycles, reducing manual intervention and making operation user-friendly.

Cycle time depends on product type, sample thickness, moisture content and chosen program. Typical small-batch cycles can range from several hours to more than a day. For exact cycle recommendations, test runs or supplier guidance are recommended.

The listed machine weight is approximately 120 kg. Exact footprint and dimensions vary by model—request dimensional drawings from the supplier for planning space and installation.

Tray capacity and batch throughput depend on the specific model and tray configuration. Contact the supplier with your desired batch size to receive model-specific capacity information.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning stainless surfaces after use, checking and changing vacuum pump oil per manufacturer intervals, inspecting seals and gaskets, and periodic calibration/inspection of the pressure vessel and PLC. Follow the supplied maintenance schedule closely.

Use mild, food-safe detergents and warm water for stainless steel surfaces; avoid strong acids, chlorides or abrasive cleaners that can damage stainless steel. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for pumps and electrical components.

Operate only on the correct voltage and with proper grounding. Ensure the pressure vessel and vacuum system are inspected regularly. Follow lockout procedures during maintenance and avoid opening the chamber under vacuum or extreme temperature without following safe recovery procedures.

Most suppliers offer operator training, spare parts (pumps, seals, sensors) and a limited warranty—check the specific vendor policy for training options, spare parts availability and warranty terms.

Freeze-dried fruits, vegetables and candies typically rehydrate quickly (minutes) and retain flavor and nutrients. Store in airtight, moisture-proof packaging with desiccant and oxygen barrier to maximize shelf life.
