Protein Bar Chocolate Coating Machine

It automatically applies an even chocolate coating to protein bars, streamlining production and improving consistency and appearance for snack and meal-replacement products.

Key specifications include 15 kW power, approximately 2000 kg weight, standard 380 V electrical supply (customizable), and a listed overall dimension length of 14 m. Other dimensions and configurations can be customized to your site.

The machine works with chocolate couverture, compound chocolate, and similar meltable coatings. It can also be used with other enrobing-type coatings such as yogurt or compound coatings, provided they have suitable viscosity and tempering.

Coating thickness and appearance are adjustable via line speed, curtain/nozzle settings, and dosing controls. Different spray/nozzle or curtain modules can be fitted to achieve gloss, drizzle, or full enrobing effects.

Throughput depends on bar size, coating thickness, and chosen line speed. Because variables are product-specific, the manufacturer will estimate throughput for your product and target output during the sales/engineering review.

The coating machine is designed to integrate with standard tempering and cooling systems. Tempering can be provided as an integrated or standalone solution, and a cooling tunnel is typically used downstream to set the coating.

It is built from food-grade materials, typically stainless steel (304 or 316 options available) with hygienic surface finishes to meet food-processing requirements.

The unit features hygienic design elements to simplify cleaning. Depending on configuration, parts can be accessed or removed for manual cleaning; CIP (clean-in-place) options may be available. A routine maintenance schedule (daily cleaning, periodic inspection of wear parts) is recommended.

Standard safety features include guards, emergency stop buttons, and interlocks on access panels. The machine can be supplied to comply with regional safety standards; specific certifications can be discussed with the manufacturer.

Yes. While the standard voltage is 380 V, the electrical system can be customized to match local supply voltages and frequency as required.

The machine requires an appropriate level, load-bearing floor (it weighs ~2000 kg), electrical supply, and connections to tempering/cooling units and exhaust/ventilation as needed. The listed length is 14 m; final footprint will depend on your chosen configuration and auxiliary equipment.

Manufacturers typically provide operator and maintenance training at installation, plus operation manuals and spare-parts lists. Ongoing technical support and commissioning assistance are usually offered.

Yes. Spare parts, wear components, and service agreements are normally available through the manufacturer or authorized service network. Discuss critical spare parts and lead times before purchase.

The machine is designed for food production and uses hygienic materials and finishes. Specific compliance (e.g., HACCP, GMP, CE, UL) can be achieved upon request—confirm certifications required for your market during specification and ordering.
