Pipe End Forming Machine Multi-functional Hose Crimping Machine

It forms and crimps pipe and hose ends for a variety of materials (brass, copper, PVC, stainless steel, etc.), producing sealed/crimped fittings and custom ends for hoses, plumbing and metal pipe applications. It is a semi-automatic machine designed for high productivity in workshop and light industrial settings.

According to the product information it can process brass, copper, PVC, alloy, stainless steel, aluminum, aluminum alloy and carbon steel in forms such as sheet/plate, pipe, rolling and steel bar. Always confirm material/thickness compatibility with the supplier for specific jobs.

The listed specifications are: 4 kW motor power, machine weight 500 kg, max shrinking (diameter) 80 mm, max tube contracting length 80 mm, and a noted 'max shrinking capacity (thickness)' value in the spec sheet. Confirm voltage/phase, cycle rates and any corrected dimensional values with the manufacturer before purchase.

That value appears inconsistent with standard crimping applications. Please verify the maximum thickness/capacity directly with the manufacturer or supplier; do not rely on this figure without confirmation.

Semi-automatic typically means the operator performs tasks like loading material, aligning or selecting tooling and initiating the cycle, while the machine executes the forming/crimping sequence automatically. It reduces manual workload but still requires operator supervision and some hands-on setup.

The machine uses crimping/forming dies or tooling sized to the hose/pipe diameter and profile. Dies are typically interchangeable so you can change sizes or profiles for different jobs. Check with the supplier for the available die range and any optional tooling kits.

Cycle time depends on material, diameter, crimp profile and operator workflow. The machine is designed for high productivity in large-scale operations, but you should request sample cycle times or a demo from the supplier using your materials to estimate actual throughput.

The machine is driven by a 4 kW motor; you will need an appropriate electrical supply (voltage and phase to be confirmed with the manufacturer). The machine weighs about 500 kg, so plan for suitable floor support, clearances and lifting equipment for installation. The supplier can provide detailed installation requirements.

Standard industrial safety items include emergency stop, guarding around moving parts and clear operator controls. Specific features vary by model—confirm exact safety equipment with the supplier. Operators should use appropriate PPE such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection as required by your site standards.

Typical maintenance includes regular lubrication of moving parts, inspection and cleaning of dies and tooling, checking drive belts and electrical connections, and periodic motor/service checks. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and keep a log of service activities.

Common issues include poor or uneven crimps, material slippage, or incomplete forming. Troubleshooting steps: verify correct die and setup, check material placement and alignment, inspect dies for wear or damage, confirm correct machine settings and power supply, and consult the supplier manual or technical support if problems persist.

Operators should have basic mechanical aptitude and training in machine setup, die changes, safe operation and routine maintenance. Many suppliers offer on-site or remote training—ask about training packages when purchasing.

It can form and crimp many hose/pipe types, but hydraulic applications have strict sealing and pressure requirements. Verify compatibility with the specific hydraulic hose, fitting type and pressure rating, and perform pressure tests on assemblies before use in service.

Many manufacturers offer optional tooling, custom dies, PLC/control upgrades or greater automation (feeders, conveyors) to suit specific production needs. Discuss your requirements with the supplier to explore available options.

Spare parts commonly include dies, seals, electrical components and drive parts. Warranty terms and after-sales service vary by manufacturer—confirm the warranty period, service contracts, spare-parts availability and technical support options before purchase.
