LBIE Double Spindle Dual-turret Turning and Milling Machine Tool CNC Lathe Multi Axis Linkage Assembly Live Tool

It is a multifunction turning and milling center designed for high-productivity machining of complex parts. The double spindles and dual turrets allow simultaneous machining of both ends of a workpiece while live tooling and multi-axis linkage enable milling, drilling, and contouring operations without part re-clamping.

Key features include two independent spindles, two turrets, live tooling (rotary tools), multi-axis linkage capabilities, a rigid bed for precision, programmable CNC control, automatic tool changers or driven tool stations on the turrets, and integrated coolant and chip management systems.

The machine is typically configurable with major CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi. Control selection is configurable at purchase to match customer programming and integration preferences.

It supports multi-axis linkage—commonly 4- to 6-axis configurations depending on the model and options (e.g., X/Z for each spindle, Y axis or C axis on turrets, and driven tooling axes). Exact axis count depends on the selected configuration.

The machine is suitable for bar and chuck-type workpieces, including parts requiring simultaneous front and back machining, complex contours, slots and lateral drilling. Maximum part diameter and length depend on the specific model and workholding; consult product specifications for exact limits.

The turrets accept a range of standard tooling systems (BMT, VDI or customer-specified adapters) and driven live tools for milling and drilling. Tooling options, holders and insert types are configurable to match your application requirements.

Yes. Live tooling (driven tools) on the turrets enable milling, drilling, tapping and other rotary operations in addition to turning, allowing full multi-process machining in a single setup.

Typical industrial CNC lathes of this class deliver high precision with repeatability in the micron range, but exact accuracy depends on selected options (spindle, thermal compensation, encoder resolution). Ask your LBIE representative for measured accuracy data for the chosen configuration.

Yes. Spindle speed ranges and motor power are configurable according to machining needs. High-speed spindles and higher-power options are available for heavy-duty cutting or high-speed milling applications—specify your requirements when ordering.

The machine comes with integrated through-the-tool or flood coolant options, a coolant tank, filtration and chip conveyors or augers to handle continuous production. Specific coolant pumps and filtration levels can be customized.

Floor space and electrical requirements depend on the machine size and options. Typical needs include a level concrete floor with anchoring pads, appropriate three-phase power, compressed air and coolant plumbing. LBIE provides detailed installation drawings and site-prep checklists.

Yes. Standard offerings include on-site machine installation, commissioning, operator and programmer training. Remote support and additional training packages are often available.

Routine maintenance includes daily cleanout of chips, lubrication checks, coolant level and concentration checks, periodic spindle and axis inspections, and toolholder maintenance. LBIE provides a recommended maintenance schedule and can offer service contracts for preventive maintenance.

Warranty terms vary by region and configuration; a typical factory warranty covers parts and limited labor for 12 months. LBIE and its authorized dealers provide spare parts, technical support, and optional extended warranty or service plans—confirm details with your sales representative.

Contact LBIE or an authorized dealer with your application details (part drawings, material, production volume, desired cycle times). They will recommend a model, configuration and provide a quote, lead time and options for customization such as control choice, tooling packages and automation accessories.
