KR Convenient Quick Meal Self Hi Pot Vegetable Pack Freeze Dryer Food Processing Machinery Convenience Vacuum Freeze Dryer

It is an industrial freeze-drying machine (brand: KR) designed to produce high-quality freeze-dried vegetables, fruits and convenient meal packs. It uses PLC control and energy-efficient design to provide fast, durable and easy-to-operate freeze-drying for food processing plants and frozen food factories.

Designed primarily for vegetables and fruits, it is also suitable for frozen food factories and for producing ready-to-eat or convenient meal packs. It can handle most fruits, vegetables and composite meal components that are appropriate for freeze-drying.

Overall dimensions are 2400 × 1800 × 1700 mm (L × W × H) and the machine weight is approximately 1000 kg. Allow additional service and clearance space around the unit for maintenance and ventilation.

Rated power is 25 kW and the standard supply is 380 V, 50 Hz (three-phase). A suitably sized and protected industrial three-phase supply is required; dedicated circuit and proper grounding are recommended.

The core control component is a PLC (programmable logic controller). The PLC handles process automation, cycle control and alarms; a human–machine interface (HMI) is typically provided for recipe selection, monitoring and parameter adjustment.

Cycle time depends on product type, slice/thickness, moisture content and load. Typical vegetable and fruit cycles commonly range from around 12 to 48 hours. For accurate cycle planning, KR recommends pilot testing with your specific product.

Capacity varies by product density, tray loading and chosen cycle. Because capacity depends heavily on product and packaging, contact KR with product samples for a capacity test or request detailed capacity data for the desired product.

The machine is compatible with common freeze-drying formats such as trays and bulk loads for later packing. Finished products can be packed into vacuum pouches, nitrogen-flushed bags, or other moisture-barrier packaging. For in-line pouch freeze-drying or specific pack formats, discuss options with KR.

Shelf life depends on product, residual moisture and packaging. Properly produced and sealed freeze-dried foods in high-barrier, oxygen-free packaging commonly maintain quality for 1–5 years. Exact shelf life should be validated for each product and packaging combination.

Freeze-dried vegetables and fruits typically rehydrate quickly (often within a few minutes to about 10 minutes) with good texture and flavor retention. Rehydration performance varies by product and cut size; smaller pieces rehydrate faster.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning trays and drying chambers, checking and replacing vacuum pump oil per the manufacturer's schedule, inspecting seals and gaskets for leaks, condenser and refrigeration system checks, and PLC/software backups. Follow the supplied maintenance schedule in the user manual and arrange periodic service by qualified technicians.

You will need a stable, level floor that can support the machine weight, 380 V three-phase power with appropriate protection, adequate ventilation for refrigeration and electrical rooms, and sufficient clearance for door openings and maintenance. KR or an authorized installer can provide a site-prep checklist and supervise installation.

The machine uses PLC-based controls with alarms and likely includes emergency-stop functionality, safety interlocks and over-temperature/pressure alarms. Operators should be trained and local safety and electrical standards observed. Confirm specific safety items with KR prior to purchase.

Warranty terms and after-sales support vary by supplier and region. KR typically offers warranty, spare parts and technical support—contact KR or your authorized distributor for specific warranty duration, service packages and spare-parts availability.

Yes — KR offers different configurations and options (tray sizes, automation level, capacity tuning) to match production requirements. For volume scaling or custom requirements, provide your throughput targets and product details to KR for a tailored solution.
