The CTX200 is a high-speed turning–milling compound lathe designed for precision and high-rigidity machining of small to medium parts. It's suitable for industries such as aviation, energy, shipbuilding and general manufacturing where combined turning, milling and drilling operations are required.
The machine features a 30° or 45° overall inclined (slant) bed, a compact cast-iron structure, high-precision preloaded linear roller guide rails, and a high-precision spindle unit and spindle box for excellent rigidity, stability and accuracy retention.
Maximum rotary diameter on the bed is Ø700 mm, maximum slip diameter of the transverse slide plate Ø300 mm, maximum turning length (distance between centers) 450 mm, and maximum machining diameter (disc) Ø300 mm.
Spindle through hole diameter is Ø66 mm, bar capacity Ø50 mm, spindle nose A2-6. The auxiliary (secondary) spindle also has A2-6 nose, Ø66 mm through hole, Ø50 mm bar capacity and supports up to 4000 rpm on the auxiliary spindle.
The CTX200S is equipped with a TYCSDY80HP-12T power turret using BMT55-style tool holders. The turret includes Y-axis capability with ±45 mm Y travel for off-center milling/drilling operations.
The machine supports multiple CNC control systems, including GSK, Fanuc and Siemens. Other control options can be discussed with the manufacturer based on customer requirements.
X axis travel is 200 mm, Z axis travel is 520 mm. X/Z/Z2 rapid traverse speeds are 18 m/min. Minimum setting unit (positioning resolution) is 0.001 mm.
Main spindle motor power is 11 kW and the machine's total installed power is 32 kW. Specific electrical service (voltage, phase, breaker) should be confirmed with SUMORE or the local distributor prior to installation.
The CTX200S has an overall footprint that occupies less than five square meters; overall dimensions are 4250 × 2000 × 2200 mm (L × W × H). Machine weight is approximately 4200 kg.
Yes — the CTX200S is designed for reliable 24-hour continuous operation, enabling reduced manual intervention and the possibility of one operator supervising multiple machines for lights-out or reduced-attendance production.
The inclined bed design (30° or 45°) promotes smooth chip flow, and the high-precision preloaded linear roller guide rails plus rigid structure support high positional accuracy and stable high-speed machining.
Regular maintenance includes scheduled lubrication of guideways and ball screws, periodic inspection and preload checks of spindle and roller guides, turret servicing per OEM intervals, coolant and filter maintenance, and keeping the work area clean to ensure accuracy retention and long-term reliability.
The machine supports BMT55 tool holders and a power turret with Y-axis. Accessories commonly offered include hydraulic chucks (8" shown), steady rests, bar feeders compatible with Ø50 mm bar capacity, automatic tool measurement probes and parts handling/automation — availability depends on configuration and supplier options.
