Finger Joint Shaper Finger Joint Machine Woodworking Beehive Finger Joint Machine

It is designed to cut precise finger (comb) joints for woodworking projects — commonly used in furniture, cabinetry and beehive construction to produce strong, interlocking joints quickly and consistently.

Pneumatic power source, motor power 10 kW, voltage 220/380 V, weight approx. 400 kg, air pressure 0.6–0.8 MPa, dimensions 1700×1500×1500 mm, work table 650×550 mm, stainless steel 304 construction. Brand: JAWOD. Video outgoing inspection and machinery test report provided.

A suitable compressed air supply rated 0.6–0.8 MPa and an electrical supply of 220/380 V (three-phase as applicable) capable of supporting a 10 kW motor. Confirm local electrical wiring and breaker sizing with your electrician.

It works with a wide range of softwoods and hardwoods. Cutting performance depends on wood species, moisture content and cut settings — test cuts are recommended to optimize tooling and feed rates for each material.

Yes — joint geometry is adjusted by changing tooling and machine settings. Finger width, pitch and depth can be modified within the limits of the cutters and setup. Contact the supplier for tooling options and setup guidance for specific joint dimensions.

The machine is designed to be user-friendly for both beginners and experienced users. Basic training is recommended to learn safe operation, setup, tooling changes and maintenance. The supplier typically provides documentation and may offer training support.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning chips and dust, inspecting and replacing/resharpening cutters, checking pneumatic fittings and hoses, lubricating moving parts as recommended, and periodic inspection of electrical and mechanical components.

Yes — spare cutters, wear parts and service components are typically available from the manufacturer or authorized dealers. It is recommended to keep common wear parts (cutters, bearings, seals) in stock.

The machine should have guards around cutting areas, emergency stop(s) and secure work-holding. Operators must wear appropriate PPE such as eye and hearing protection, dust masks/respirators when necessary, and avoid loose clothing. Follow local safety regulations.

At approx. 400 kg, the machine requires suitable lifting equipment (forklift/crane) for transport and placement on a level, stable surface. Professional installation is recommended to connect pneumatic and electrical supplies, anchor the unit if needed, and perform start-up checks.

Production rate varies with wood type, joint size, tooling, and operator skill. The machine is described as high-efficiency for fast finger-joint production; for exact throughput estimates, request sample testing or discuss your part dimensions and production targets with the supplier.

Yes — it is explicitly suitable for beehive work. The machine can produce the interlocking finger joints often used in beehive boxes, improving strength and assembly consistency.

Yes — the product listing indicates a video of outgoing inspection and a machinery test report are provided, so you can review test results before delivery.

Warranty and support details are not specified in the basic description. Contact the manufacturer or authorized dealer (brand JAWOD) for warranty terms, service contracts, installation support and spare part availability.

Many manufacturers offer customization of tooling, fixtures or software/settings to suit specific joint sizes or production requirements. Contact the supplier to discuss custom tooling, additional accessories or special configurations.
